Come stay in the Buffalo Guest Room, located just minutes from Caprock Canyons. This vacation rental is part of a historic homestead built in 1925, updated in the 90's, but still retaining the historic charm and decor from almost 100 years ago.

The space
This one-bedroom/one-bath guest room can sleep four people, with a queen bed and twin bunks. It has its own ensuite bathroom, with a shower, sink, and toilet, plus access to a fully-equipped shared kitchen.

There is a Roku TV.

Linens and towels are included.

Guests are provided complimentary coffee at the coffee bar in the kitchen, as well as light snacks.

Located on ten acres, two miles from the state park and one mile from the quaint town of Quitaque, guests are free to sit out on the porch, walk the property, and enjoy the peace, quiet, and views of the surrounding areas.

Note: This is one of two apartments in the same house, but it is separated by a locked door. The kitchen is a shared space when the other apartment is occupied.

The owners occasionally stay on-site in the unrenovated apartment in the back part of the house.

Please note the porch on the southeast side of the house is for the other cabin rental only. Otherwise, feel free to enjoy the rest of the property. The grill on the north side of the house and the screened in patio are for all guests to share.
