About this listing
Sleep on a mattress on the floor or coach in a building next to Paulista Avenue! It is very close to subways, buses and many places to go.
The room set up is a double mattress or two single mattresses on the floor. Pillows and blankets provided.
The living room is sunny and windy.
Situated close to Avenida Paulista (one of São Paulo's most important and busiest avenues), next to subway station and bus stop.
Nice region close to supermarkets, drug stores, banks, post office, restaurants and stores. Close to a shopping mall with a nice food court (Shopping Center 3).
Your room is the living room / TV room, we provide towels, sheets, blankets and pillows.
Non-smokers preferred, it is allowed to smoke in the building's entrance but not on your balcony.
You can use common areas in the apartment, such as the living room, an equipped kitchen, laundry room, etc.
We provide a plastic box for you to place your belongings during your stay and keep yourself organized.
Stay like a local and feel like a Brazilian roommate :)
It is easy to get to the apartment. There is a bus directly from the airport that will bring you to a hotel 3 blocks away, and the subway and many bus lines are 2 blocks away.
Interaction with Guests
I work from home some days of the week and I will try to be around and be helpful, but I cannot leave work and be present before 6 PM during week days. I will most likely be able to take you around the city on weekends, and my roommate will also be here to assist you when he can. You will have a set of keys for you so you are free to visit the city while we are not here.
I will try to show you around the city, but I cannot promise that. So let me know your trip plans in advance so that I can check if I can accommodate them.
This is one of the safest neighborhoods in the city. It is very residential and quite expensive in general, but it is also close to one of the busiest avenues, so everything is of ease access.
Things in here are usually a bit more expensive than other neighborhoods, but service is also better.
Paulista Avenue has police officers around every time, and we have a restaurante by the side of the building and a couple 24-hour drug stores, so there is always something happening and you will not feel unsafe!
This is the best asset of this location. The subway is 2 blocks away, and it works from 4:40 AM to 12:AM. Buses to almost every part of the city are also 2 blocks away. There are also taxi stops less than 1 block away.
Other Things to Note
It is a living room, and not a room. There is no curtain to block sunlight, and we may need to walk through it to go to the kitchen. So do not expect a lot of privacy, it is a more personal experience for guests who want something very local and are on a budget.
Also, this is not the best place for long stays as it is not a bedroom and it won't be as comfortable.
You may hear the gate and gate noise when cars come in and out. Unfortunately this is not something we can preview or guarantee that it will not happen. The balcony is facing the garage.
+ No visitors: we know you may have friends in Sao Paulo and may want to visit them, but you cannot bring anyone home nor give our phone number. Please respect our privacy :)
+ No drinking / smoking: we all know everybody has their addictions. Either way, we do not allow excessive drinking nor any kind of drugs inside home.
+ Replace broken items: life happens, and we do understand that. Either way, anything that was broken will have to be replaced by an identical item, of the same brand.
+ Be careful with your keys: in case you lose the keys, please replace them before checking out. We may choose to change the locks if this happens, so be careful to avoid losing them.
+ Keep it clean: it is not necessary to do the dishes every time you use a cup, just do not let the sink get overwhelmed with dirty dishes and glasses. Wash it every now and then.
+ Do not overuse shared utilities : we provide towels, but we ask guests not to use multiple towels at once or take the whole paper roll with you.
+ No paper in the toilet bowl: please, do not throw toilet paper inside the toilet bowl. Throw it in the trash can. :)
+ No landline available: landline phone is not available for guests, sorry! :)
+ Pillows: it is 1 per person, if you would like more, let me know.
+ Bathroom time: My roommate and I start working at 9 AM, so please be mindful of the time
+ No noise after 10 PM: it is a residential building, please be careful with noise after 10 PM, and also because we work the next day, but of course you can stay up until late or come late after enjoying your time on the city's bars and clubs. We are not worried about TV noise nor anything like this, just about the neighbors.
+ Be green: no need to be very concerned with it, but always save water and electricity when possible. No long showers.
+ Privacy: do not share our address with anyone. Privacy is important. Thanks!
+ Check out time needs to be respected, no late check out to avoid inconveniences to future reservations. No exceptions.
+ Early check ins will only be accepted if there is no previous reservation and depending on the time you request it, the cleaning may not be done yet. So let me know your plans so we can avoid any issues.
