L'appartamento e' vicino a San Pietro, nuovissimo e ben arredato.
We had an awesome experience with Martin. He's very professional and welcoming host - Probably the best Airbnb host we had so far.
He waited for us at the airport and drove us to the place (for a very reasonable fee) - which made us feel really safe and eased our late-night arrival with a toddler (19most).
He gave us maps and lots of tips, and even had pastries baked by his wife for us.
Then Martin had a cozy baby cot available for our toddler and toys for us to use - AMAZING touches!
The apartment we got has been newly remodeled and looks as amazing as in the pictures. Then... Yes, the Vatican is few blocks away and you can see San Pietro right from the window.
Bottom line, I would stay again with Martin and highly recommend it.
Tips: There is a street market and a cafe bar just around the corner from the apartment - explore it. Buy Vatican museum tickets online, if you are there on a Wednesday go to the Papal address (tickets handed for free by the Swiss guards next to the San Pietro entrance the day before). Send a Postcard from the Vatican. Have lunch in front of the Colosseum (nice restaurant just outside the Colosseum Metro station). Ask Martin for more tips.
very good location, quiet neighborhood. very patient host
Martin was very accommodating and helpful! We arrived later than check in time and he made every effort to help us out! He is very genuine and his wife even made us welcoming cake! He also gave us tips as to what to do and what to see in the time frame that we were in Rome! Amazing location! Great host, highly recommended!
We had another good stay with Martin and he will always be our go-to place for Rome. He picked us up from the airport, which was incredibly convenient especially considering that my wife's parents were with us this time.
He takes good care of his space and is a very communicative and efficient host.

About the Host, Martin
Hi, I am Martin! I was born in Salzburg - Austria forty-three years ago. After a rather tranquil life as a teacher for music and math at a very nice place in the Austrian mountains I married my Roman girlfriend Daniela and an exciting life in the whorled capital of Italy started. Together we are managing our Romahouse holiday apartments now for nearly 14 years. It is a great experience to get known to so many different cultures from all over the world by renting apartments. This exploration of different custom and languages at work brings you sometimes a certain holiday feeling at home, too!
Thus we like to cook not only pizza and pasta at home... but also delicious food from Austria across Asia beyond America inspired by our guests.
In our holiday season we like to travel: Europe, Africa, Asia - sometimes cities but mostly we want to refresh our self in intact nature because this contrast from the daily "big city environment" is sometimes a necessary cure for our body and spirit.
Recreated back home in Rome again we are glad to
introduce our holiday experiences into our work.
