Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, this appartment is the perfect place to hang your hat while visiting San Francisco and exploring Northern California.
Guests will enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the comfort of their own kitchen or a garden dinner in the designed backyard. Enjoy the large internet TV in the living room. The master bedroom has a home cinema connected to netflix (as many movies you want for free). There is a laundry in the building that you can use for free.
This year and just after the sensus, Mission neighborhood is not only the sunniest but also now proclaim the best night life and restaurant place in San Francisco with more than 90 Zagat restaurants.
You’ll be located steps away from bus lines to major places and the BART subway station takes you downtown in 5''or to the airport in 20'' placing the entire Bay Area within easy reach. At the BART station you also get Zip Car or City Car Share. If you have your own car, be aware that San Francisco has streets with limited time. You're fine between 5pm to 10am though. Also, you have Bartlett public parking a block away in case. Hard to be more convenient.
I want you to feel like family, so I usually cook a meal on your arrival or a bottle of wine and chocolates will be waiting for you.
The apartment comes with plenty of towels. Fresh and clean Egyptian cotton 800 thread count bed linens. The bathroom comes fully stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash all top of the line. Also comes with a blow dryer. Stocked with Toilet paper, hand towels and an Iron.
You will find a folder on the table when you check in. This folder will guide you on how to connect to the wireless internet, which is the nearest grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants and with my own recommendations, etc.
Sorry, no smoking in or around the building, no pets...
Apartment in a beautiful romeo building 1912 with balconies, 1300 sq. ft.
I don't really have specific rules since I assume guests are going to be friendly, courteous and respectful with my place and neighbors. I would appreciate the following:
-No smoking in or around the building, period.
-Any damage done to property must be paid for by renter
-Please use coasters/place-mate on all wooden furniture to protect from hot/cold drinks
-No random additional "outside" guests allowed.
-Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 10 am in the morning
-Please don't bring "the crazy party" home with you :)
Anton has a lovely apartment in the mission and was a great host. The bottle of champagne on arrival was a nice touch. The location of the apt was great. Would stay again!
Anton's apartment was great -- the location was fantastic and both of us felt right at home. The welcome wine and snacks were great, too! I'd stay here again.
Anton was one of the kindest hosts I've ever met. He was flexible about check-in and was there to greet us with champagne and pastries. His place is beautiful, with all the necessary amenities, and the location is perfect - it is indeed in the heart of the Mission. Unfortunately we weren't able to have brunch with him as he gently invited us but I wouldn't think twice about staying there again!
Nice apartment in a nice area! What we were looking for!
Mission is great to discover SF, and close to Valencia.
We didn't have time to meet up Anton, 'cause busy schedule, but he host us in a very clean apartment. Everything was great!
Just, the Internet wifi sucks... The connection wasn't really good. Do not rally count on the internet, if you need it.
Well, don't really count on internet if there is street work! You guys should have talk to me and answer the many times I tried to meet you. I didn't know you had trouble with internet. Unfortunately, the cable company was upgrading our neighbor and connections were slow during your stay.
I'm a robotics engineer and I run a small Hi-tech company, I can assure you that I work with internet everyday and it works just perfect :O)
Anton was a great host. He met me by the Bart station and helped with my luggage. Anton gave me tips on local attractions, places to eat and explore. His place is absolutely beautiful and charming. It's conveniently located to a Bart station and several bus stops so you have no problems getting anywhere in San Francisco.
P. S. Cafe La Taza is a perfect breakfast spot located right around the corner from the apartment.
My family of three was visiting me in SF and stayed at Anton's place for two weeks. His place is even lovelier than the photos suggest - it's spacious, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Its location made for my family's quick and easy access to BART and fun places in and around the Mission.
I have only good things to say about Anton's communication with me over the course of my family's stay, and even prior to that - he was abroad for most of my family's stay, yet responded to a couple emails I'd sent him in a timely manner. And his "welcome basket" was a thoughtful, hospitable touch.
It's unfortunate that there was an incident involving Anton informing me a day after my family left that he'd returned home to two stained chairs and a broken toaster. My family confirmed that they hadn't noticed any stains, never used a bottle of Bleach (in an attempt to remove said stains or to do laundry) which Anton said he found in his apartment, and that only one side of the toaster had been working since they got there. I passed along their response, and I then asked him to consider that previous guests might have been responsible - there was wet, dirty laundry in the hamper when my family arrived at his place, after all. No explanation was offered about the latter, except that a friend and his cleaning people backed up his story. It was ONLY in the interest of not turning this happy family memory into an unpleasant "he said, she said" one that I agreed to pay the sum that Anton requested to cover damages.
Would I recommend Anton's place? Absolutely. The lesson I have learnt from this experience, however, is that a thorough review of the property should be conducted at the beginning and end of a stay. And any sign of damages should be properly documented.
I totally agree and feel the same. This story is really unfortunate because I truly liked to communicate with Nicole.
This summer I was away as volunteer in Nicaragua. I was teaching art and science to kids and felt really happy to do so. However because far away I wasn't able to welcome my guests as I usually do. I just prepared gift basket before leaving and did my best being always available online. I was counting on AirBnb cleaning team.
I never had a problem in the past but this time I found stain/bleached chairs, scratched dining table and broken kitchenware. I was ok with the toaster but the dining chairs made of fabric were brand new and costly. I had no choice than ask my best friend who checked the house and also the cleaning team about last time they were at my apartment.
Both said they didn't notice anything. Nicole was not home, so we were both talking through third party.
Anyway I thank Nicole to make it easy and simply help with the chair that fortunately was much cheaper this year.
