--- The apartment ---
Located on the ground floor of a triplex, very close to a metro station, a supermarket and lots of trendy shops, this 1000 square feet apartment is the perfect place for your Montreal stay.
Enjoy eating outside on your private terrace, a real luxury to fully grasp the summer! Private garage to park a small car is included in the summer only and also free parking in the street for the winter. The apartment is tastefully furnished, with a modern touch. There is a very big and fully equipped kitchen with a generous “island counter” and a dishwasher. The apartment has been designed in an open space concept for the living room and kitchen, so lots of natural light fills the apartment and you feel there is plenty of space, even if you are a big group.
With its 3 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 10 PEOPLE (1 large closed bedroom, 2 smaller semi-closed bedrooms, 1 super comfy sofa bed, 2 extra mattresses can be added). There is also a desk area with Wi-Fi internet and a 43” HD TV with cable. A big walk-in offers plenty of storage space for your clothes. The bathroom is spacious and you will love the shower, I promise! Front load new washer and dryer inside the apartment.

Great place, was nice and clean and held myself and 4 other guests comfortably. Was very well equipped and the owners sent guest books with all the information needed well in advance!
Calling this place a 3BR seems a bit generous. I'd call it 1BR + SuperLoft.
There is one enclsosed bedroom in the back, and two "loft-like" spaces with beds. And a couple of extra couches. Apartment is a ground floor, so a little dark.
Location wise, it's a bit from downtown, but there's a great amount of street life on Rue Ontario around the corner, and Olympic Park is quite close by.
Joanna and Frederique were very conscientious hosts. They took great care to make sure we got to the apartment with no problems, and it was easy to get in.
The listing description was accurate. The host made me feel welcome by being able to contact them whenever to ask them anything. The neighbourhood was okay a little more outside of the city centre that I wanted but they did tell me it would be 15min outside the city centre. The house did look a little worn due to some chips in the wall paint and some chairs we weren't able to sit on. The neighbours were friendly but sometimes a little too friendly.
All in all it was a perfect house for what we needed it to be!
Thanks so much :)
The interior of the place was really nice, and slept 5 people comfortably. About a 15 dollar cab ride to the heart of montreal!
Joanna and Frederique's place was great... The location 2 blocks from the Metro with an 8 minute ride from downtown. We got week long passes for the metro ($6 for the Opus card + $25 for the unlimited travel) - definitely a great way to get around. The apartment has a private, single car garage - our car stayed in there the whole week. The apartment was well equipped - it had everything we needed.
This is a great place to stay! There a couple great restaurants right down the street from the apartment and the subway was only a couple blocks away. The condition of the unit was spectacular and Joanna and Frederique provided everything we needed. The best part.... the shower, it had wall jets and a very large top spout. I would stay here again and reccomend this to anyone.
Joanna and Frederique were very quick to respond anytime our group was unsure of where something was and leading up to the days of the visit.
The place itself is cozy yet the layout offers good space for entertaining everyone in the group. Washroom was huge as well and some pretty top end appliances throughout the place.
The location was great for us. We were first time visitors and didn't see any problems. The neighbourhood looks a little older in some places, but there was a nice grocery nearby and cab rides were quick to take us to Old Montreal and Downtown, which wasn't too far away.
All and all, great clean place with lots to do near by. Really helped that the weather was nice and we were able to BBQ in the back. Look forward to stay with them again or try another one of their places.
