The space

Our unique single unit cabin on our property in Silver lake has a log cabin feel. When inside, you feel as if you were in Big Sur or some other remote, mountainous location, until you step out onto the back porch and see the view of all Hollywood, the hills, the sign, Griffith Park observatory, and all the way out to the coast, THEN you're reminded where you are.
We have built a little kitchenette with a hot plate, refrigerator, electric kettle with assorted teas and coffee, it's the perfect size for preparing simple meals.
There is a private bathroom which we've just outfitted with imported moroccan tiles.
There is a private entrance for guests, the cabin is separated from the main house by a walkway, it's very private, but only a few feet from house. Your back deck is connected to our back deck by a small staircase.
There is internet.
Convenient street parking.
Coffee/Tea
Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap
Hairdryer
There is a television with a wide variety of dvds, however we do not offer cable TV.

We are located right on the border of Echo Park and Silver lake, so we are smack in the middle of downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood. A stones throw from Los Feliz, a 5 minute walk to shops and delicious eateries and a 1 minute drive to get on the 101 freeway, so by car, just a couple minutes to downtown and hollywood (traffic permitting).

Thanks to Brian Ferry for the wonderful pics of our place (website hidden)

loved this cabin retreat! the dark wood and easygoing vibe reminded me of Northern California, where I'm from. it's definitely a snug space but well curated with vintage coffee table books, natural textures and multiculti decor. simple pleasures in a quiet and comfortably walkable neighborhood. such a civilized way to stay in LA!

Patrick and Danielle's Echo Park cabin was the perfect place for me to rest and relax during a busy few days in L.A. The cabin was super clean, cozy and the bed surprisingly comfortable. I loved the tile in the shower and even used the hot plate to warm up some delicious take out from Cookbook. The cabin is close to everything in Echo Park/Silver Lake area and easy to access from the freeway. It was nice and dark in the evenings and more quiet than my old house in Silver Lake. Also, if you want to have a lazy morning you can get a Sqirl breakfast delivered via your fave app for a few bucks - totally worth it! Loved my stay and can't wait to return.

The cabin was perfect! Walkable to restaurants and bars, but still had a nice secluded feel too. We loved sitting in the back porch area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Patrick & Danielle's place. We found it so relaxing it was hard to go out at times and enjoy the neighborhood. The close proximity of most things we were interested in to check out on foot made the location all worthwhile. Prompt response and in person recommendations from Danielle came in quite handy as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This little cabin was great! The location is perfect for walking to Sunset Blvd or Echo Park. There is a super nice backyard patio that we loved (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication and check-in was super easy.

Lovely cabin, but we happened to be there during one of LA's unusual heat waves. Being from Texas, we always think everything has air conditioning and didn't think about checking to see if this cabin did. Lesson learned. Otherwise a comfortable spot and easy check in and out.
