Old style beach apartment

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Soline, Drašnice, Split-Dalmatia County 21328, Croatia

The Space

Apartment perfect for 2 couples, family of 4 or group of friends.

Apartment is right on the beach, literally 10m from the beach as you can see on the photo. Old style house, really peaceful area. 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, AC.

There is 1 full size bed in the bedroom, and there is pull out sofa in the living room. So this apartment can take up to 4 people.

In the center of town, really convenient.

We are really friendly and easy going family, always ready to go for an extra mile. If you don’t trust me, then check out our reviews. ;) Any apartment you book will be waiting for you clean and fresh. You do not need to bring your linens, towels, soups, toilette papers, and stuff like that; all of that you will find in the apartment. We live in the same house, so if you will need anything we will be there for you! Well, Customer service is our biggest strength! All we want is to make our guests amazed; just a satisfaction is not an option!!! :)

We have a parking garage and parking lot that can fit as many cars as you will be arriving with. If you have a trailer for the boat, we have a separate parking for it as well.

Beaches are made of soft, small stones, pebbles. There are 5 bigger beaches in the town, but there are also around 30 small private ones 15 minutes walk from the apartment where you can enjoy the beauty of Dalmatian coast and have as much privacy as you want.

Drasnice is a little town in the middle of nowhere with 300 inhabitants. People in Drasnice are really friendly and it is just perfect place to come for a vacation, relax, and do absolutely nothing! :)
If you are looking for a place where you will be spending your vacation, enjoying the nature, the beautiful see in the front of your apartment, or doing nothing… I don’t think you could find a better place than Drasnice. :)

CAR - Once you made the reservation I will send you the video of how to get to the apartment, since your GPS wont show the address.

BUS – let me know where you will be departing from and I will help you with directions since I am probably more familiar with buses in Croatia then you are :). This will save you time for sure.

AIRPLANE – if you are flying in I would suggest you to fly to Split. That is the closest airport, and most likely the cheapest one (Zagreb might be cheaper, but then you will need to drive for another 3.5 hours, or ride on the bus for 6.5 hours). From the airport you can either rent a car, or you can take a bus. You will need to take 2 buses; one from the airport to downtown Split, and the other one from downtown Split to Drasnice. From there we can pick you up from the bus station, or you can just walk down the road.

FERRY – There are 2 ferries that come from Italy. One goes from Bari to Dubrovnik, and the other one is from Ancona to Split. Both of them are overnight ferries. I can provide you more information in this case, since guest usually want to see those 2 towns once they arrive.

Drasnice has 1 grocery store (Konzum) where you can find all you need for cooking. Konzum is 5 minutes walk from one our houses, and 1 minute from our other house. There is also bigger shopping center in Makarska (10 minutes away).
In Drasnice you can also find 2-3 restaurants which are fairly close to the apartment (5 min walk the most along the coast). They serve food till midnight, but drinks are served long as you are sitting there and willing to drink. :)
There are also 4-5 coffee bars, they all close around midnight. For night owls who love to party till early in the morning (by morning I mean 6am :) ) I would suggest to go to either Podgora or Makarska.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a really great time at Toni's apartment. Amazing communication, super helpful and the apartment was clean and nice.

Drašnice was quiet (compared to most of the neighbouring towns) and family oriented, in a nice location to explore the islands and mountains.

We will definitely come back for a longer stay with friends next time. One of the best airbnb experiences we've had. Highly recommended.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Drasnice. The apartment description and location match our experience. The apartment is quite small for 4 people, but clean and in an ideal location. Marco's granny, which lives just under the apartment, made our stay special. She was available to help us and she even brought us fresh fruits and local wine quite frequently. Thanks for that :)

  • The apartment that we stayed in really is only 15 meters from a perfect little pebble and sand beach. While the apartment itself is very basic, Marko and his family have gone above and beyond any other airbnb host we've had during our stay. Not only did Marko's father pick us up from the bus station in Makarska, but Marko has continuously been in touch with us to answer any and all of our questions despite the fact he is currently in the States. He has even gone so far as to look up bus schedules for us, tell us about fun hikes in the area, and his wonderful grandmother who lives nearby has even helped us with our laundry since there isn't a laundromat in Drasnice. We have met several other people renting other apartments from Marko and his family and we all have the same thing to say: this has been by far the best Airbnb experience we've had!

  • Drasnice is a wonderful small town outside Markaska and unit S1 is a great apartment to rent in the center of the town. It is conveniently located next to the grocery store and all the cafes and is right on the water - Not to mention it is very cozy! The kitchen is also well equipped and nice to cook in.

Marko and his family who own the apartment are all very helpful and responsive - Marko's dad even drove us into Markaska a couple times and his mother brought us fresh fish one day for lunch.

Drasnice itself is very small and remote, but the people in the town are extremely friendly and the town is beautiful - it is a great destination to relax and catch up on work and rest!
