The apartment is located on HISTORIC ASTOR ROW, where the first Harlem row-houses were built in the 1880's. Those row houses are located just across the street from these historic brownstones, on a nice tree-lined block.
You will have access to a spacious clean elegant room with soft comfy linens, including a down comforter, desk, dresser and refrigerator/freezer, TV, and iron/ironing board. You will also have access to a full bathroom and a kitchen that is equipped with a stove and a microwave.
Access to the living room is also available, which has access to cable stations.
Interaction with guests
I am a personable individual and I enjoy having company / guests. I would be happy to assist you in any way that I can to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. However, I lead a busy professional life. Therefore, I will not be in the apartment very often, but I will be accessible for questions via phone and email.
Other things to note
You will have access to the kitchen, including the stove and microwave. There is a refrigerator for all guests, located in the guest room.
•Please NO SMOKING anywhere in the home. There will be an "additional" $50 cleaning fee applied to those who violate this rule;
•Please No loud music after 9 p.m. and no parties;
•$50 lost key fee, at check-out;
•$25-$50 lock-out fee;
•LIGHTS - Energy Preservation: Please do not leave the lights OR appliances in the "on" position, while you are out of the apartment OR no longer in that particular room.
•FOOD: Guests must provide their own food BUT please feel free to use the kitchen, including the microwave, stove & oven, to prepare your meals.
•CLEANING: The apartment will be delivered in a clean and sanitary condition upon check-in, including fresh towels and linens.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves during their stay; including cleaning (with soap that will be provided) any dishes used and discarding of any trash.
•GARBAGE: Please place all garbage containing food or perishable items in the trash receptacle located in the kitchen.
* The recycling should be placed in the left side of the trash recepticle & any trash or garbage should be placed in the right side of the trash receptacle that is located in the kitchen.
•ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE: Check-in and check-out times are flexible and can be arranged to accommodate each guest, if possible. However, early check-in and late check-out are never "guaranteed." If no special requests are made and approved prior to check-in: check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. and check-in is at 5:00 p.m. A late fee will be charged if a guest either fails to depart the location timely and/or return the keys by 11 am.
If a later different time is needed, I would be happy to accommodate your request, if it is possible.
It is the guest's responsibility to contact me to coordinate their check-in & check-out arrangements (if applicable), to obtain access to the keys. Please make any requests for special arrival/departure accommodations as soon as possible.
To ensure that someone is available at check-in to provide you with the keys, I ask each guest to provide to me with their estimated time of arrival at the apartment, at least 2 days in advance.
If you are flying into NYC, please also provide me with the following information: (1) the airport you are flying into, (2) your airline and flight number, and (3) your planned means of transportation from the airport to the apartment, so I can better estimate your time of arrival to greet you.

I am sort of a health nut as it relates to eating right (I try to stick with all organic foods) and I exercising regularly ( i LOVE spin). :)
