Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
The Hill House is a great location for visiting South Iceland. From the house, there is a beautiful view, and the house is big and spacious. It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. This house is the perfect place for big families or friends.

The space
The Hill House is close to many of the main attractions in South Iceland and has a great central location. The famous waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi are just about 5 km away. The area is also perfect if you like to see the Northern Lights during winter. The property has a DC-3 plane wreck, only a 5 to 10-minute walk from the house.

The surrounding of the house is amazing. It is close by the glacier and volcano Eyjafjallajökull and therefore surrounded by mountains on one side on the other side is a great view to the mountain area Fljótshlíð and the glacier Tindfjallajökull and to the open flat area of the river Markarfljót. It is a very good place for seeing northern lights. And as well a great place to stay if you like to be private and enjoy the beautiful nature of Iceland.
