This spectacular newer built studio style modern decor chalet is located in the High Valley Park community of Packwood, at the base of Mt. Rainier National Park. Fully outfitted with everything needed for an active, amazing and completely relaxed vacation, and fully decked out with all the comforts of home and more. This newer completed 2020 luxury chalet is truly outfitted with modern decor and appliances.
The space

Skiing White Pass Ski Resort is a short 25 minute drive from the chalet. If you are interested in hiking the Tatoosh Trail, the Tatoosh hiking trailhead is only a block away. Other hiking trail heads are also just minutes away. Try your luck with fishing on Skate Creek or for salmon (seasonal) on the Cowlitz River, which is just minutes from the chalet as well. The Stevens Canyon entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park is about a 30 minute drive from the cabin. Many travelers coming to see the majestic mountain do the loop through the national park starting in either Ashford or just outside of Packwood at the Stevens Canyon entrance and end the loop through the park in the opposite location. The main entrance to the National Park is in Ashford which is about a 40 minute drive from the chalet, so either entrance you use to enter the park will work wonderfully for a night or two stay at Tatoosh Trailhead. Tatoosh Trailhead is our newest built addition to Fairway Getaways vacation rental properties. Please inquire if you are interested in an early check-in or later departure. We often allow these as often as we can; although, it can be challenging at times during our peak seasons. We make it as easy to stay with us as possible! Drive straight to your rental and access the rental with a unique lock code that we give to you. When your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a welcome letter with directions, lock code, and instructions. We attempt to be available 24 hours a day with live and on site help if needed or desired.
Guest access
We offer each of our guests exclusive access to the living quarters of the chalet (second story). The garage (ground level) is for owner and staff use only (where we store supplies and equipment).
Other things to note
1. There is not currently a usable yard or outdoor fire pit due to the current weather in this season. We plan to complete our landscaping, sidewalks and fire pit when the weather is more suitable for these projects in the late spring or early summer.
2. This chalet does share the same property lot as a single wide mobile home. The single wide is minimally occupied (usually mid-week) by construction workers for another build we are doing on another property.
