The Space

This is a Large Fully spec'd studio flat in prime London location of Kings Cross, exceptional local amenities coupled with fantastic location for London, it is also right on top of prime a transport hub. The apartment has a Brand new fit out, all mod con's, fully serviced, garden area, fully fitted kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, micro, hobbs, all crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. Towels, bedding, Wifi, HD LCD TV with 100plus cable channels, Printer and scanner, leather sofa, great stereo, local phone, the list goes on and on. .

Extremely convenient very VERY central for London, fresh towels & bedding provided.
The flat is located in charming Victorian terrace, (originally built in 1845) there is everything you need right down the street, very close, there is also convenience stores, supermarket, take out food joints, bars, restaurants, clubs and fantastic transport links on your doorstep.

Guest Access

I send an introductory email a few days before your arrival with full instructions for location and access, including a little map, link to (website hidden) maps, handy phone numbers and contact details etc.

Once you've arrived and are settled I leave you to it. I have multiple methods of contact for myself and other support personnel to make sure there's always someone if theres an emergency.

Interaction with Guests

I use email primarily, and am constantly checking. I have the flat set up for smooth flow of arrival and departure with the minimum of fuss, a great system that has worked flawlessly for almost 2 years now. We may meet, we may not, but Ill make sure everything is all good for you.

  • My wife & I found Mark's flat fantastic for our needs. It was compact yet sufficiently spacious for 2 people with a small living area including a couch & a table with 2 chairs. It was spotlessly clean. It had all functional utilities required eg fridge, washing machine & drier, dishwasher, microwave, cable TV (including hard disc recorder). It was ideally located being 4 minutes walk from Kings Cross station which allowed us to access most of the places we required in London within 20 minutes & very close to takeaway food outlets & a Tesco supermarket. The windows are double glazed and, whilst Caledonia Road can be noisy, the noise never cost us one moments sleep during the night. Mark is a very attentive host & contacted us more than once whilst staying at his flat to ensure that all was well with our needs. We would recommend this flat to any of our acquaintances as an ideal base in which to stay whilst in London.

  • We had a great stay at Mark's flat. Check-in was easy and the unit was as advertised. There were a number of restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets nearby and easy access to the London transport system. We will be staying at Mark's place again in September.

  • Lovely apartment exactly as advertised. Mark was a pleasure to correspond with and arranged everything perfectly. Apartment is small but fully equipped and it makes an ideal base for London. The key handover was very straightforward and Mark left highly detailed instructions that made staying in the apartment exceptionally easy. Could not have been better.

  • The apartment was clean and well equipped. Location was pretty good, with a short wall to King's Cross and a Tesco supermarket round the corner. Mark was accommodating towards our request for early check in and we picked up the keys with no issues under his clear directions. The manual Mark provided was very useful (wifi code, cable tv, microwave, oven, washing machine etc) everything you need!

    Like all other reviews, the wooden floors is something to take note of. Coming from a country with concrete flooring, we had to walk very softly at night to avoid disturbing the neighbor below the unit.

  • Mark was terrific to deal with in regard to answering any questions that we had very promptly.
    The flat was clean and in a great location for getting around London and doing all that we wanted to do.
    It did take some time to get used to the road noise however.
    We did have an issue with the downstairs neighbour with regard to floor noise. An issue that we raised with Mark and something for him to deal with.

  • Mark was wonderful to work with. He was very quick to respond to all of my emails and very helpful in his replies. The place is very nice, well kept, and extremely convenient! His information provided to us via email and in the flat were just as a nice hotel would provide. My only suggestion is to throw a couple more rugs on the floor to help the sound from traveling below. He provides TV, wi-fi, and even recommendations on places to eat and drink! Wonderful trip for us!

  • Its convenient to get to places from the apartment. A note to all visitors, you may need to tip toe around the house from 10pm-8am otherwise theres nth bad about this apartment. Mark was helpful and answered all our queries promptly. Check out the pizza place a few steps away, good for late night hunger pangs. Its pretty decent!

    Marks Wohnung entspricht genau wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Das Bett ist wirklich sehr komfortabl. Meine Tochter und ich haben sehr gut darin geschlafen - wenn auch unter einer Decke. Die Wohnung ist super und es ist alles da was man braucht. Wifi funktioniert super.
    Die Strasse ist in der Nacht ruhiger als gedacht. Mark`s Kommunikation ist wirklich gut - auch während der Reise fragt er nach, ob alles passt. Persönlich haben wir ihn nicht kennen gelernt, aber er hat zwischendurch mal in der Wohnung den Sonnenschutz repariert. Vom kleinen Treppenhaus nicht abschrecken lassen! Ich würde wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Mark's London flat. It's in a good neighborhood for inexpensive but well-prepared pub food, plus many other restaurants of varying descriptions. King's Cross Underground Station is very close by, so that the airport and all central London sights are readily accessible by metro. The flat itself is perfect for two people, and Mark is an excellent host. He gave us excellent preparatory information and kept in contact with us during our stay to make sure that we were comfortable.

Hi there, I've been a London resident for over 10 years and am lucky to have this superb flat to let out. I work in hospitality, namely restaurants, and develop concepts & business for international clients. Can't live without good food, Razor Clams, butter garlic & parsley please. Wash it down with nice chilled Sauvignon Blanc, Rhone Red if we're on main course ! Very happy to sit on the sofa all day and channel surf, my flat is well kitted out for this. Have travelled extensively, and still love to hop on a plane and go explore. Not very good at books, but flick through huge amounts of magazines and periodicals. As a host, I try to make sure you're all sorted out with the place, and leave you to it ! Remote contact via phone / email / sms , I never leave my comms behind ! I lived in the flat for 4 years, so kitted it out & made it comfy. Now it's yours so my stuff isn't there, but I left behind all the handy stuff, cable TV, wireless net, great sofa, super comfy bed, fully kitted kitchen with some devilish chilli sauces, dishwasher, washer dryer, printer, copier, scanner etc. Super convenient location with all you could need on the street, all night convenience stores, bars restaurants, international transport hubs, access to the world....
