The flat is located in charming Victorian terrace, (originally built in 1845) there is everything you need right down the street, very close, there is also convenience stores, supermarket, take out food joints, bars, restaurants, clubs and fantastic transport links on your doorstep.

Guest Access

I send an introductory email a few days before your arrival with full instructions for location and access, including a little map, link to (website hidden) maps, handy phone numbers and contact details etc.

Once you've arrived and are settled I leave you to it. I have multiple methods of contact for myself and other support personnel to make sure there's always someone if theres an emergency.

Interaction with Guests

I use email primarily, and am constantly checking. I have the flat set up for smooth flow of arrival and departure with the minimum of fuss, a great system that has worked flawlessly for almost 2 years now. We may meet, we may not, but Ill make sure everything is all good for you.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Mark's London flat. It's in a good neighborhood for inexpensive but well-prepared pub food, plus many other restaurants of varying descriptions. King's Cross Underground Station is very close by, so that the airport and all central London sights are readily accessible by metro. The flat itself is perfect for two people, and Mark is an excellent host. He gave us excellent preparatory information and kept in contact with us during our stay to make sure that we were comfortable.

  • The flat is very clean and well equipped. I especially love the kitchen and the bed. The location is excellent that we could go around London and other nearby cities easily. Quiet neighbourhood. Restaurants and supermarket are just around the corner. Mark is a very helpful and nice host. He provided detailed guidance and advice. I really enjoyed staying in this perfect flat.

  • The apartment was set in an old Victorian building quite like many of the buildings around London. Apartment was nice and cosy. What you see in the pictures is what you get! Didn't get to meet Mark in person but he contacted us prior and during the stay so it was not an issue at all. Handbook was really good and it helped us in settling in. Location of the apartment is really good as well, about a 5 min walk from Kings Cross station (which is probably one of the most central locations in London). Overall great experience with the exception of the floor which you have to walk carefully on.

  • Mark's flat is great. It's small but it has everything you need for two people, and we found it really comfortable. The neighborhood is also fantastic, and it's extremely easy to get to King's Cross station to go anywhere you'd like to go. I would stay here again in a second.

  • Mark's Flat was perfect for my needs; Comfortable, (relatively) quiet and in a great location. It's clean and well equipped and the set up for getting in and out worked well. All you need for a stress free stay in Central London.

  • First of all, Mark delivered what he said he would and the apartment is great -- with everything you would need in a great location. Only issueis that the floors are wood and there is a tenant below that can hear every move. I think having a few small throw rugs would solve the problem -- I was just very sensitive not to disturb the neighbors!

  • We have spent 8 nights at Mark’s place. Everything was just perfect. Mark always answered my mails very fast and answered my questions. The place was nice and clean, as described. Wireless Internet, which was very important for us, worked perfectly and was really fast. The place was very conveniently situated to visit London, 10 min to King’s Cross, very close to a supermarket. We will absolutely recommend it to everyone and we will return here if we come back to London in future.

  • I don't think I have enough room here to say how AMAZING Mark's apartment is and how wonderful of a host he is. It is amazingly close to a main metro station, grocery stores etc. It made me and my wife's trip to London even better knowing that after a long day we would get to stay at this beautiful place. Can not recommend this place enough! and if you are considering other places to stay in London, DON''T! this is the best place that you will ever find. Thanks again Mark.

  • Perfect location and everything we need and more are catered for in the cosy flat. Mark is a wonderful, warm host. Will definitely try to book the place again when I next return to London.

Hi there, I've been a London resident for over 10 years and am lucky to have this superb flat to let out. I work in hospitality, namely restaurants, and develop concepts & business for international clients. Can't live without good food, Razor Clams, butter garlic & parsley please. Wash it down with nice chilled Sauvignon Blanc, Rhone Red if we're on main course ! Very happy to sit on the sofa all day and channel surf, my flat is well kitted out for this. Have travelled extensively, and still love to hop on a plane and go explore. Not very good at books, but flick through huge amounts of magazines and periodicals. As a host, I try to make sure you're all sorted out with the place, and leave you to it ! Remote contact via phone / email / sms , I never leave my comms behind ! I lived in the flat for 4 years, so kitted it out & made it comfy. Now it's yours so my stuff isn't there, but I left behind all the handy stuff, cable TV, wireless net, great sofa, super comfy bed, fully kitted kitchen with some devilish chilli sauces, dishwasher, washer dryer, printer, copier, scanner etc. Super convenient location with all you could need on the street, all night convenience stores, bars restaurants, international transport hubs, access to the world....
