Interaction with Guests
I'm like a ghost. A ghost that will help you find things, recommend restaurants, or anything else, even when I'm on the other side of the world, which I often am.
You'll be staying in the heart of it all. Great restaurants abound on many nearby streets in this historic neighbourhood. The National Gallery is at the end of the street. If you love running or cycling, it's very close to great pathways, including my favourite one which goes over not 1 but 2 waterfalls, all right downtown!
From the airport: Take bus 97 to Laurier Station, from there it's a 10 minute walk. Or you can take it to Mackenzie King, walk through the Rideau Centre (mall) and get a 1 or 9 bus up Dalhousie Street. Get off the 1 at Murray/Dalhousie or the 1 at Dalhousie/Bruyere.
From the train station: Take a 95 or 94 downtown to Laurier Station.
From the bus station: Walk 1 block east to Bank Street, catch a #1 bus, get off at Murray/Dalhousie.
With so much nearby, you'll probably spend most of your time on foot, but you can catch a 1 or 9 bus at Dalhousie and St. Patrick, which takes you to Rideau Street and the CBD.
On-street parking is limited to 3 hours between 7 am and 7 pm, but is always free, and overnight parking is allowed. Nearby lots on Dalhousie Street are reasonably priced and a great option.
Other Things to Note
My home also comes with a Roomba Robot Vacuum Cleaner!
I'm sure you're chock full of common sense, let that be your guide.
The thermostat is in the stairwell to the basement (first door on the left), it controls my upstairs tenant as well, so please keep that in mind and keep it at 21C+ during the day in winter.
Please lock up and keep windows closed when you're not in.
Please keep noise to a minimum between 11pm-7am; neighbours need to sleep, and there's a local by-law requiring it. $385 fines suck!
It's a bright, inviting space, perfect for entertaining friends or just sitting back and relaxing.

Great apartment, exactly how Geoff describes. Very cozy. Location is amazing, right in the market and walking distance to almost everything. We never had the pleasure of meeting Geoffrey but he was extremely accommodating to our needs and responded to our inquiries within minutes.
