The Subway is right beside me but the apartment is very quiet and you can't hear the subway
This room has 12 foot ceilings, on the north east corner of Yonge and Wellesley st. Prime downtown location
Robert's place is a fab apartment. It's clean, bright, spacious and cozy. Everything you need is (website hidden)'s a quiet place although in the middle of the downtown area. The location is perfect to explore Toronto. There are bikes for rent within 5 minutes walk from Robert's apartment and you can cycle down to the CN tower within 10 minutes. The village where the apartment is located is also vibrant and fun with lots of restaurants and bars. And of course, it's a 2 minutes walk to the subway station which made it very easy for us to find it on arrival. Although we never had the chance to meet Robert, he is a dedicated host, making sure everything was ok for us. Communication with him was excellent. We definitely recommend Robert's apartment.
I stayed at Robert's apartment for a 3 day weekend trip to Toronto. The apartment is simply fantastic! It's quiet, ideally located along Yonge St. (which has a plethora of restaurants and stores), has a great view, brightly lit by the natural sunlight, and has all the kitchen appliances you need to make yourself feel at home.
Although I did not get a chance to meet Robert in person, my experience with him through text and email was pleasant. He responds quickly to your inquiries and even asks how things are going during your trip to ensure you have everything you need. You don't need to meet Robert to know that he is a reliable and caring host.
I would recommend renting Roberts apartment and would do so again myself when I'm in town.
Best location in town, right above the subway, super convenient. walking distance to everything.
He was kinda enough to arrange an parking for us, we had to pay bit extra its still way cheaper than parking on the street. Picked up the key from concierge. The room was very comfortable, even though we didn't get to meet Robert, his instruction was very thorough, it was great he let us use his iMac with free wi-fi.
Communication was very easy, response time was great. Would definitely come back again.
I wrote your review and by the way, I should leave the login password to get into the computer (if it logs you out as it did). You could have easily asked me for it. Hope to see you again and maybe we will meet next time. By the way, when I logged back in. I saw pics of you and your wife playing guitar on facebook in my place. I immediately logged out but I thought it was so cool to see you feeling at home.
The location was amazing, seconds to subway and minutes to great selection of restaurants. Great ceiling to floor windows. Robert kept us informed on any changes to his apartment and gave us a complete listing (with the help of post-it note) to where is what. We had a pleasant stay for the holiday and recommend the place.
Great location. When we arrived - dishwasher full of dirty dishes, clothes drier full of clothes. Very poor lighting so difficult to see at nighttime when trying to sorry through suitcase. Toilet over flowed once. Owners belongings every where which made us feel as though we were imposing on the owners everyday life. Vertical blinds covering the floor to ceiling windows did not work so it was difficult to fell any privacy. Double bed extremely comfortable. We had to find bed linen and make up the beds for the other two members of or party. But we managed and it was right next to the subway which made getting around really easy.
Robert is an awesome host. He is very communicative, polite, friendly and very pleasant to deal with. Robert's apartment location is superb & very convenient! As you walked out the building, on your left is the subway station, and on your right is a Starbucks. You will find lots of shops & restaurants around the neighborhood. The four of us (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed comfortably in Robert's apartment. There is no TV, but my kids had a great time using Robert's iMac computer to play games & youtubing cartoons to watch. The WiFi is also fast & reliable. You can also go up to the rooftop in the evening and enjoy the view while drinking a glass of beer. There is always a security guard at the lobby, so we feel very safe. It is a nice building. Parking across the street is $6 overnight, and up to $14 during the day. You can also park on certain streets (with permit) if you want to save money. We just park across the street because it's convenient. We will definitely stay at Robert's again when we visit Toronto in the future.
Robert was a great host: first, he was very flexible to accept our booking, although it initially did not fit for him.
We were allowed to live in a beautiful apartment in the heart of downtown Toronto. We traveled with two small children, who were also enthusiastic. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures, fully equipped. Despite the extremely central location, it was quiet with air conditioning and thick windowpanes. The key pickup per concierge worked out great.
All in all is this central accommodation in the heart of downtown Toronto between the exciting Yongestreet and Church Street highly recommended . Ah yes, the communication with the host worked very well. WiFi in the apartment excellent.
Robert thanks again!
