Interaction with Guests
We are confident that our guests will feel like at home, surrounded by the typical Roman hospitality of our beautiful neighborhood.
We are available for any type of aid (tickets, information on transportation, cultural activities, tips on restaurants, booking of pick-up service etc.) as we live just a few minutes away from Casa Alice.
San Lorenzo, the Roman East Village, born in the shadow of the Aurelian walls is a Trastevere escaped to tourism.
The old heart of the capital, loved by Guttuso, Moravia and Pier Paolo Pasolini recently discovered a wave of creativity, innovation and youth.
With the white towers of Termini, the monumental cemetery of Verano and La Sapienza University it is perhaps the most interesting neighborhood of Rome.
The apartment is just a few moments away from restaurants of all kinds (traditional Roman cuisine, ethnic cuisine), libraries, cinemas, theatres, galleries and meeting points for emerging artists.
A few steps from the House you can find many lines of trams and buses that will connect you easily with all the most important places of the capital
The nearest metro stations are Policlinico and Termini (Central Station). The Tiburtina station is also nearby.

Very nice host and really lovely apartment! Though we had some troubles through out our trip, the host is always reachable and willing to help us. Will def come back again!
We stayed 5 nights in Casa Alice in Rome - San Lorenzo, it was like showed on the photos, a well furnished, nice little spot beside the tourist places in the center. The Flat is well located in a silent neighbourhood but good connected with public transport possibilities to get to all importants spots in town. We enjoyed it very much to stay in Casa Alice.
My friends and I stayed at Casa Alice for 3 days at the end of December. The house is exactly as described: nice and well decorated, clean and comfy. Though the heating (that you'll have to pay separetely) worked properly, the house was never really warm. But I guess we've been particularly unlucky with the weather.
It's very well located, perfectly connected by public transport to "downtown" and the main railway stations (Termini and Tiburtina). There are many restaurants, bars and grocery stores by walking distance.
Stefano was a great host, attentive and responsive: for instance just before our arrival he checked the Wi-Fi and discovered it wasn't working and he managed to have it replaced by next morning. He also prepared guide to Rome and the neighbourhood that can be really useful. I totally recommend him.
We didn't stay in Casa Alice, but the unit next door. It was lovely; clean, quiet and well appointed. It's also interesting to stay in an area that is not the touristic center of Rome. you will get a much more diverse feel for the city. Federico was a a lovely host and greeted us at the train station and provided a bottle of wine and fruit. I highly recommend!
This house is furnished with love and care. We have made with many things buyed during our travels. we love San Lorenzo, this pypical area of Rome, and we will be happy to guide you to discover an unknown Rome!
