Two levels tailored to host 2-4 guests. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living area, small kitchen with fridge & stove, appliances. Fully furnished. Large terraces both upstairs and downstairs allow for breathtaking views of the surrounding rain forest and coastline of the Pacific Ocean.
Clean, modern lines, large picture windows and sliding glass doors create a bright and fresh ambiance that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors.
A combination of exotic warm wooden furniture, rich fabrics and other ethnic accessories produce a subtly luxurious effect.
This apartment has its own private entrance and is located within the private gated community of Manuel Antonio Estates.
5-10 minutes walking to the town of Quepos with Marina, weekly farmers market, dining, shopping.
5 minutes to bus stop to the beach & MA park (every 20 minutes, 50 cents).
Dorit was very helpful and replied quickly. Bali-Casa Macaw is a very nice house, suitable for two small families. Squirrel monkeys visit the house in the evening. 10 min walk to Quespos, a frequent 15 min bus to Manuel Antonio.
Richard's place was great, and he was very accommodating and helped made our visit less taxing on us. They arranged our tours and answered any questions we had about the town.
The property is nice, there's a grueling hill to hike, but it was a good workout. There is also a spa located within the property that is very nice.
We had a great stay at the Mot Mot house. The villa is in a great location -- about 10 minutes from the beaches in Manuel Antonio and several great restaurants. Dorit recommended some very good restaurants (we loved Barba Roja) and booked a sunset cruise for us. The kitchen was well equipped, although the fridge did not get very cold. Although only two of the bedrooms had air conditioning, we were able to keep cool between fans and the pool. A four wheel drive vehicle is recommended to access the house, because the drive is very steep! The house could also use a little more lighting -- it got a little dark at night. Definitely visit the national park if you stay here! We also loved deep sea fishing (we were able to cook some of the dorado we caught on the charcoal grill...the propane grill was not functioning).
Dorit was excellent and the property was even better than the ad. Would love to come back (I still can't believe we actually left!)
We had a great stay in the apartment, which was well fitted out and had everything we needed.
There's lots of wildlife all around - monkeys on the roof and in the trees, lizards, birds and even a poison-dart frog on the steps.
We are a family with two kids, age 13 and 11. We stayed at a 2-bedroom unit for 5 nights. Dorit was responsive and helpful from early on, and when my husband jammed his shoulder from slipping on stairs, Dorit located a chiropractor for him right away. The location of this place has its advantages and disadvantages. It's within walking distance to downtown Quepos, where you can find groceries, shops, restaurants, etc. However, you have to take a bus or taxi to the Manuel Antonio National Park. It worked out well for us because we only visited the park once and that was enough for us. The place is not that close to the beach, so no ocean views. On the other hand, we liked the security, the quietness, and convenience to shopping areas. We also enjoyed the pool tremendously. The shape and depth were well-designed. My husband was grateful for the one and only AC in our bedroom so he could sleep comfortably at night. All in all I would recommend this place.
Villa Mot Mot was set in some of the most beautiful property I have ever experienced. The staff was very professional and our entire party felt extremely safe. The only draw back was that the hot tub did not function as one but rather an additional smaller pool.
Casa Peces is a beautiful home. There are some small details that require updating or replacement; pots and pans are in need of replacement, coffee cups lacking, some dinner dishes are chipped. Some light fixtures are without bulbs, and the outdoor terrace can't be used at night because there are no working lights.
Staff was outstanding. Daily maid service was excellent and we were met by security on our arrival. Use the recommended taxi service; much cheaper and more efficient for airport transfers,
The directions are poor; very difficult to find the house after dark and without street names, signs, or house numbers, this was a frustrating experience. We did not have a telephone number to reach after business hours so we were on our own to find the house.
The house is close to the airport and to many attractions in and around the area. With it's central location and close access to major highways, there was no shortage of things to do.
The area is modern with good access to shopping districts.
The biggest drawback to the area is the neighbourhood dogs. With the open area concept of the house, there are several noisy dogs and this generally wasn't a problem during the night.
All in all, I would recommend the house.
Beautiful home. Perfect for our group of 7. Although not in Manuel Antonio, it was a short 5-10 min drive. Close to the action in Quepos. We were even visited by the local spider monkeys. Highly recommend
