This cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in the historical neighborhood of Meridian and Kessler is the perfect location for your stay in Indianapolis! It's less than 5 miles to shopping, restaurants and sports venues of Downtown Indy and just 4 miles to the pubs and boutiques of Broad Ripple. Coming to town for a college visit? You're only 1.5 miles from Butler University and 4.5 miles from the Indiana University - Purdue University of Indianapolis Campus.
My home includes a small kitchen, a dining room, office area, living room with pull-out couch, bedroom with queen sized bed, small bath and a porch just off the living room. My favorite part about the condo is the view! Especially during the warmer months of the year.
I have wi-fi internet access and basic cable (you won't want to spend much time inside - there is so much to do around Indianapolis!). Parking is available on the street or behind the building in the lot. There are a number of IndyGo bus (public transportation) stops just outside the building. The building also has a pool and small workout facility.
Interaction with Guests
I will greet you at the condo to show you around and answer any questions before handing over the keys.
The nearest public transportation stop is right across the street and can take you downtown within 15-20 minutes. There is also parking along the street or in the parking lot. The airport is about 30 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
Please note that I am not able to confirm the availability of my listing more than 3-4 months out and I'm also not able to rent on short notice (within the week).
No pets allowed. No Smoking. Do not light the candles (most are for decoration only!).
Becky was a very warm and welcoming host. Her apartment was beautiful and comfortable. Her apartment had all the needed amenities: coffee maker, tv with Netflix, work out room, laundry and pool (if warm) Her neighborhood was quiet and the architecture of the homes in the area was very nice. I was staying for a conference downtown and there were multiple bus lines nearby that went downtown. I was also able to walk to yats ( a casual Cajun restaurant)
Becky was very helpful at every stage, from checking in to local recommendations to directions. Her condo is gorgeous and immaculate and very comfortable. I was in Indianapolis for work for a three week period, and I spent two separate weeks here. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. The neighborhood is great -- not far from Broad Ripple, the Art Museum and the Monon bike trail!
Becky was a wonderful hostess; quick to respond to communication and prompt meeting us at the condo. She gave us a thorough introduction to the condo and offered help with anything we needed during our stay. The condo is exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Becky even provided pool towels for my visiting grandkids and fresh flowers around the house. Big perks were the great washer and dryer, solt linens, lots of comfy pillows, the pool and the exercise room, as well as the easy parking all around the building. The building is totally secure with key fob entries and night time security. The area was really our favorite reason for picking Becky's condo. Close to downtown, Broad Ripple, Butler University and the State Fair grounds; it is right in the heart of the Meridian Kessler neighborhood with it's beautiful old homes and lovely yards. We borrowed bicycles and totally enjoyed riding through the neighborhood admiring all the restored homes.
I almost forgot to mention the wonderful balcony, where we enjoyed our morning coffee made in Becky's great coffee machine!
Having just returned from Paris, where apartments are small, Becky's condo seemed hugh! Not only is there lots of space, but Becky even cleaned out an entire closet for our use and invited us to use anything in the kitchen (we enjoyed her coffee, diet cokes and popcorn).
I have not one complaint, everything was perfect! Thank you, Becky for the wonderful home away from home! We come to Indy several times a year, and I would love to stay at Becky's place again.
Amazing experience. Becky was very welcoming and helpful to explain a bit of the area and what we should try to do while visiting. The apartment was EXTREMELY clean and well organized. We were very happy to have stayed here and most definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area!
This apartment is exactly as the pictures show. It is very clean and very nice. Becky was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay at her home again. The location for us was perfect and parking very easy.
Again, Becky provides a perfect getaway home! Everything and more one could want. Thank you again Becky for being part of AirBnB
This condo was absolutely beautiful. Obviously the time was taken to make it feel like a home away from home. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, we were comfortable inside and cooked every meal in Becky's kitchen. The gym was perfect, and the people in the building were very friendly. Becky was there to greet us upon our arrival and was available during our entire stay for any questions. I was visiting my college student who couldn't come home for Thanksgiving and am so grateful to have found this place and hopefully will always be able to stay here when I visit Indy. Hands down much better than staying in a hotel. Thanks Becky for taking the time to make your home our home for a few days.
Hello, I'm Becky. I'm from Indianapolis and love to travel.
I'm very organized, very clean and can't stand for things to be out of their 'place' (especially when I'm traveling). I'm always checking items off my never ending to-do list. I'm a non-smoker, enjoy staying healthy and exercising to keep fit. When I'm traveling, I need to feel at ease about my surroundings.
Hmm...my favorite things? Wine, cheese and bread. I could live off those three alone. My Christian faith is absolutely by far the most important thing of all in my life. Spending time with family and friends is next in line. My three sisters are vital to my well-being.
