The interior of the home is appointed with stunning lighting throughout to enhance the stone walls. Relax around the courtyard with a peaceful unobstructed view of the CREEK. The casual sophistication of this handsome site pays homage to the art of leisure with classic charm. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. Exquisitely renovated with attention to every detail throughout this very unique retreat. The inviting upstairs bedroom overlooks the lower level. Incredible wood flooring and stairs. Take as many pictures as you like of this 1800’s structure. Originally built as the City Ice House it was refurbished from the ground up in its original style including the iron clad solid wood doors and windows. Be sure to see the original pictures in the photo binder at the property.

We call it “The Heart of the Mother Lode” because of the gold rush that made this area famous in the 1800’s. Amador County has been the home to superior Zinfandel Wine for over a century. Zinfandel came to Amador County in the wagons of Italian immigrants during the California Gold Rush.

My name is Michael G and I’ve fallen in love with Gold Country. Born and raised in Louisville, KY I followed my career to the Bay Area. After 25 years I moved further north and here I am. I bought two historic properties and remodeled both to be comfortable places for respite, relaxation and fun. History, exploration, wine tasting, hiking, biking and touring in every direction.
