We had a perfect stay at the guesthouse! Jeff, the host and assistant, was very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know!
The guesthouse is very nice and cozy and a great place to stay in Venice. It is squeaky clean and had everything we needed (coffee maker, toaster, well equipped kitchen, etc). It was a very kind gesture, that Jeff stocked the fridge with a couple of beers for our arrival.
My personal highlight were the beach cruisers and the tandem, which we could use at our convince! I highly recommend the guesthouse for a relaxed and authentic stay in Venice!
Muy bien localizado, igual que en las fotos. El anfitrión se preocupó por todo.
The place was nice and clean. We loved the bikes, Venice Beach is just a short ride from the guesthouse so they were really useful. There was a whole foods across the street- very convenient. It was very thoughtful from Sailene to message us a couple of days before our arrival to let us know she's not in the town, so she gave us Jeff's number and he checked us in. He was very kind and brought us a few beers. The only thing we didn't like is that there wasn't any bigger window which you can leave open for the night, because it really gets hot in there. We ended up leaving the door open, and I was a little scared the first night, but after all it seemed as the neighborhood is quite safe.
The property was as described. It was well-appointed with all of the necessities and much effort had been made to ensure privacy. Parking was on the street and was not a problem--at most we were the equivalent of 2 houses away. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nicely done. It did get a bit warm in the afternoon from the angle of the sun through the door, but there is a very comfortable covered (shared) patio that was perfect during this time.
This is a cozy and well-stocked guesthouse with an excellent location right near the Mecca of all Whole Foods in Venice. The host and assistant, Jeff, treated us very well. It was an awesome touch to be received with a couple of cold beers in the fridge. The sun shade over the bed was also a huge hit!
The guest house we stayed in looked just like how it did in the photos. We stayed there for two nights. We didn't meet Sailene. But Jeff was very nice and (email hidden)ey have two bikes in the backyard you can use but we just walked to the boardwalk. The house is located very close to coffee shops, restaurants and stores. They even had a few beers in the fridge for us! But we didn't have any time to drink them unfortunately. I would definitely stay here again.
The house is pretty comfortable. There is everything you need. It is clean, the location is really good too, close to beaches bars and supermarkets! But the best thing are the bikes. Pretty good bikes so you can get everywhere quite easily. Also perfectly timed delivery of the keys. So we would definetly stay there again!
