I moved to this neighborhood because it's beautiful, family friendly and very walkable. My apartment is small enough to feel cozy yet spacious enough to not feel crowded. I love it! I have lived in Los Angeles for many years and can point you to the fun tourist spots as well as the local flare. I also have a very sassy cat who loves visitors.
Please message me to let me know if you are interested in staying in my home. PLEASE-no same day bookings. WE want to be prepared for your visit.
Thank you and I look forward to your visit!

Steve and Sharon were great hosts -- they made us feel like we were at home. The house itself is lovely. Their cat (Kayani) makes sure you are well taken care off too :D
While we only had a quick overnight stop both Sharyn and Steve made us feel very welcome - and the bedroom and bath were both comfortable and spacious! The location was also very convenient - we were going to the Glendale Civic Center and it was easy to get to - and in addition, there were restaurants in easy walking distance and a grocery store just across the street.
My son, nephew and I spent two nights with Shar and Steve. They were wonderful hosts and we also enjoyed the cat, Kalani.
The room included an additional full sized blow-up mattress, which made for a comfortable sleeping space for the three of us.
They supplied a little continental spread on the first day. Not sure why they did not do so on day two.
Nonetheless, they were very accommodating and I would certainly consider staying with them again.
Thank you for the review! I apologize for not having the breakfast out the second day for you. You were out of the house so early I wasn't able to get it out in time but it was out for the two boys when they got up. Travel safe and it was great getting to know you all.
Sharyn is a great host, super accommodating, pleasantly organized and so warm! The room and bathroom was neat, clean and tidy. The neighborhood is great and everything is so conveniently located. Sharyn went out of her way with everything and is the nicest person you could ever wish to meet. Thank you for being so welcoming!
Our host Had great energy ; very welcoming. Room was clean neighborhood was nice. there is lots of food options around . they provide a nice breakfast . you get a good since of privacy the room and bathroom are off in its own section. I enjoyed my stay and would surely stay again.
Second stay, lovely as always. I travel to Glendale often for work and much prefer staying here than some soulless chain hotel
My son and I stayed already at Sharyn and Steve's place for 5 days and spent another night on the way back from our tour in California. We had a wonderful time again at their place, same warmth from these wonderful hosts, same amazing breakfast and same clean and spacious house welcoming us.
Definetely a place where to stay, their neighbourhood, Glendale, is very charming as well, few steps from Ralphs and Trader Joe's, close by a residential area where you'd like just to hang out admiring the soooo nice houses, and the more commercial section of the community is near by as well.
They also have a cat that is amazingly beautiful and friendly...I guess their cat couldn't be otherwise!
Originally from Hawaii, I'm a dancer and fitness instructor living in Los Angeles. I love traveling and have been lucky enough to do so through dance and having an awesome husband and parents that love to travel and travel light! I'm a big foodie and love to cook (especially for my hosts!) and a perfect evening for me includes good food and good conversation.
