My house is a modest brick home, but in a great location. It is situated in a suburb of Charleston, in a quiet neighborhood, and in a short 15 minute drive, you can be in historic Downtown Charleston or many of our lovely beaches. The house is near the Charleston International airport, the train and bus stations, as well as the Tanger Outlets for shopping.
There is plenty of space in this 6 room home, two bedrooms (yours is private). There is one bathroom which is shared with me or other guests (depending on if I'm traveling or not). There is a lovely kitchen with all needed amenities. There is cable television in the living room and free wifi access. Parking is available. There is also a garden with gas grill. You are also welcome to use the washer/dryer if you're on a longer stay and need to have laundry facilities.
Although I'm now a teacher, I've worked in the bed and breakfast industry and believe in making my guests feel right at home. I've exchanged houses with families before and hosted many friends/family members during their visits to Charleston.
*There is not great public transportation here in Hanahan. We do have the "CARTA" bus, but it's not widely used. It's easy to get places quickly by car, so please plan to either drive in to town, or get a rental once you arrive.
We felt like in home! Sbe is a kindness person and an awesome hoster!! We will come back soon!!!
Hannah's house was the perfect place to stay while we were visiting Charleston. Though Hannah was out of town and we didn't get to meet her, she made us feel welcome with a binder of suggestions for places to see, eat and drink! We had the entire house to ourselves and were able to take advantage of the kitchen for meals in. The location of Hannah's house is fairly central. Everything was a close drive away, including Sullivan's Island and downtown Charleston. As a plus for two Maryland girls who don't have one, she was also located very close to the Sonic!!
I would definitely stay here again in the future!
What can I say... I know it won't be enough! My friend and I could not have had a better stay in Charleston, thanks to our host Hannah. If you plan to stay in Charleston, I highly recommend staying here. A last minute booking (very last minute), and she was extremely responsive and communicative! It's a precious house that's easy to get to from the interstate, it's really a breeze! It's only about 15 minutes to the beach, 10 min. to the city. To top it off, Hannah is the most hospitable and generous host! She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and celebrate the new year. We even made a meal of steamed local clams in the kitchen. She also wrote and published a cool children's book about her town that gave us a lot of ideas on what to do. Sullivan's Island was the best. The home is quite spacious, quiet, extremely clean w/a fabulous bathtub/shower, and everyone was very respectful of one's privacy. Pictures on the website are true to what you will find. All in all it was one of our best vacations ever, just awesome. Come to relax and put your head down, hit the beach while you're at it! It is indeed like coming home. We'll surely be back; I often use Airbnb and this was my best Airbnb experience! We'll always be grateful to you, Hannah! You are welcome in our home anytime.
The stay was great with Hannah. We had a whole house to ourselves.
Hannah is a very gracious host. Thank you for everything.
Hannah's house was great and very very nice. Met Hannah's brother and he was helpful also. Highly recommended as a place to stay when visiting Charleston.
Enjoyed my time at Hannah's place. It was so quiet--I accomplished so much!
