Guests often search for this popular amenity
Cozy, tidy second story room in a residential neighbourhood a mere stone's throw from downtown.

While it may lack the floor space of a standard hotel room, the RCMP Room offers views of Tunnel, Rundle, and Cascade. Such a sought-after view can be hard to find from a room in Banff—but we are happy to offer it at a discount. While the space is not suited to long-term stays, the RCMP Room is an ideal place to launch your outdoor adventures.

The space
All of our rooms have a private ensuite bathroom, and cable television. There is a small common area with some books and games, as well as a kitchen available for guests to use throughout their stay. We also have a storage area for your ski equipment. Breakfast is served every morning, and is included in the room rate.

Hey there! My name is, Shelby, and I arrived to the Bow Valley in the fall of 2016. Standard story, I came out for a ski season and found my forever home in the mountains. I am truly passionate about this place and if you have time I will sit and talk your ear off about just how much I love it. Please let me give you a local's guide to getting the most out of Banff National Park and the surrounding areas. The Blue Mountain Lodge enjoys a rare designation as an historic B&B Inn. It was built in 1908 as a rooming house for coal miners. Although the mines have since closed, the Lodge still serves as a place for people to rest. It's a house with undeniable character and views from many of the rooms. Our breakfast isn't half bad either! I have been Head Innkeeper since September 2019. If you have questions about Banff, what it has to offer, or what there is to do—please don't hesitate to ask. The best part of my work is being able to share the multitude Banff offers with guests and members of the community.
