A great little apartment in a really great neighborhood. Pos was very easy to deal with and made sure it was easy to stay at his property. I would definitely return!
Perfect location! right around the corner from tons of shopping, eating and drinking on 24th and 21st streets. Also very close to pearl district. The unit is more spacious then the pictures show, and the bed is very comfortable. It is a basement unit, but we barely heard the people above us. Poz was a very good host, quick to respond to any questions I had.
Paz was very responsive and welcoming. What was not clear in the write up of the space is that it's in the basement and guests need to walk outside the unit to take a shower. The "full" bath is not quite full. The half bath is in the unit.
Poz was prompt and welcoming in his responses and was very receptive to our needs. The apartment was warm and clean upon arrival.
I got sick shortly after our arrival, thus spending much of our trip in bed. As a result I can attest to the comfort of the bed!
The location is fabulous! Walking distance to great shopping, a good rock climbin gym and a plethora of extraordinary dining experiences.
we actually stayed in Paz' new home in the Alberta district and it was great. Aside from a few minor quirks, as the home was just recently built, we felt welcome, comfy, and cozy. Staying off Alberta was great and the home is just a couple blocks off the main strip. Paz is a great host, laid back, and had some good suggestions for things to check out. He's also super reachable if needed. All in all a great stay and I would definitely recommend him to others!
Poz was an excellent host and gave us very detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment along with recommendations to excellent coffee and restaurants. He was super warm and friendly on the phone. The apartment was as described and the location was excellent. Tons of shops and restaurants right outside the door and easy walking distance to other parts of the city like the Pearl District. We only heard a little bit of noise from the people in the unit above once or twice in the morning, no big deal. The bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was there was a noticeable smell of cat when we first walked in. The smell seemed the strongest by the bed. It was not overpowering and we got used to it. I was surprised not to see it mentioned in the other reviews so maybe just a one off? In all, we had a really great time and enjoyed our stay in Portland.
-Nice big kitchen
-Heating in the winter
-If you are above 6 feet tall you are going to hit your head...a lot.
-Landlord sometimes dropped by during rental period with 20-40 minute warning.
-Poorly lit (and a bit shaky) staircases to enter at night

I am also a designer/builder here in Portland, Oregon focused on small housing and Universal Design. (UDU Design LLC) My most recent project is one of my airbnb listings. It was built from the ground up and is know as an ADU, (accessory dwelling unit), or Urban Dwelling Unit as we like to call them. Most of the interior finishes are recycled and or reclaimed building materials.
I am a bit of a foodie and appreciate fine wine. I have lots of recommendations here in Portland, currently a mecca in the scene.
I also love the great outdoors and can recommend good hikes in the Gorge or at the coast, where to camp and which beaches to explore. I Love meeting people from around the world and across the country. Hosting is something I thoroughly enjoy, (maybe it's the Italian in me). Connecting with others and creating community locally and globally is one of the most powerful things we can do to help shape our world and create a sense of belonging.
Saludos! Hope to share with you soon! Poz
