Had a great stay with Cheryl & Guy. We arrived in the evening and met Guy & Cheryl briefly. Plans had us getting in late and leaving early am. Didn't have much time to talk with Cheryl & Guy. Their home is in a nice neighborhood and the listing is as described. A great nights sleep before returning home was just what my son and I needed.
New residential neighborhood, not walking distance from anything at all but an easy 5-10 minute drive from most everything in Columbus. Indianapolis Road and US 31 are the roads into CBUS, so make it annoyingly easy to drive into any part of town.
Bath is not private, as it's off the hallway next to the room, but it is indeed dedicated to you. Room is on the second floor, which it seems they avoid when they know you are here so is more private than the usual room-only deal. Neat, very new, very well maintained and cleaned.
Breakfast items not just provided, but laid out for your use. Nice.
Cheryl and Guy were fantastic hosts! Warm, accommodating, easy to talk to, helpful, responsive, and generous. The room was comfortable and a yummy breakfast was provided. Coffee and tea were readily available, the home was warm and inviting, and the location was great for getting to downtown Columbus or the outlets. I would absolutely stay with them again and recommend them!
We were very pleased with the accommodations in the lovely home of Guy and Cheryl. Since we were in town to meet with an old friend, we spent very little time with Guy - but he welcomed us into his home, showed us around for a few minutes later that evening when we returned. The next morning we had a short time to talk with him and share information. It was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
My first Airbnb and it was superb! Hosts Cheryl & Guy have a very lovely home and my accommodations were spacious, private, quiet and very comfortable. Their located in a very nice neighborhood, near a thoroughfare that is out of ear-shot, and are very easy to find. As I was visiting many friends in the area, my schedule was early departure and often late returns, but Cheryl & Guy were most accommodating. Breakfast was quite ample and with a delightful variety.......and, I felt so at ease to languish over morning coffee if I chose.
Anyone going to Columbus, IN area will find they're most comfortable in a stay with Cheryl & Guy, who will make their visit most enjoyable.
I stayed here for three days while doing some consulting at Cummins. It was a much better experience than the local hotels. Guy and Cheryl are very friendly and welcoming. The house is very quiet and perfect for a good nights sleep. As a bonus, the tea is first-rate as it is from Guy's tea importing business. I'll be back at cummins for more projects and will definitely return.
Cheryl and Guy were incredibly gracious during my stay in Columbus, IN! I couldn't have asked for more- their hospitality was a great example of genuine friendship. I recommend booking a stay with this family and I would love to come back again!
