About This Listing
I share my living room with mature open-minded travellers. It is a small charming apartment with a little garden. A beautiful area with forest, beach and exclusive shops. 15 min from Cph city. Suits best for people who want silence and peace. No TV.
Please contact me minimum 2 days in advance before your arrival!
The apartment is 2 rooms and small kitchen - and you DO NOT have a completely private room, that is why I only offer shorter stays (1-3 days).
You will get a sofa-bed in the livingroom. I sleep in the bedroom. We will share the kitchen, a small bathroom with toilet and a shower.
You are open-mindend and enjoy silence to relax.
What you get is beauty, harmony, peace, creative inspiration and nature experiences nearby.
There are also many cultural places, like museums, Experimentarium and many small special shops and restaurants in the area.
Wireless internet. No TV, no radio!
Parking outside is ok.
If I have time, and you want, we can cook together and share meals - it is up to you to ask. Otherwise I expect you to have your own food. And if it feels right, I can join you for a walk to the beach or to Dyrehaven - a big natural park with wild deer.
It takes 5 min. to walk to the train station - and from there 15 min. to Cph city (Nørreport) where you can change for metro to the airport.
Please read my house rules before sending a request.
Interaction with Guests
In this period, spring 2015 I am writing my thesis at home, so I prefer guests who are out of house from the morning until afternoon.
I am by nature more an introvert than extrovert - also as a host. I am comfortable with silence and each of us being in our own space for most of the time. But of course I want to chat a bit and exchange some experiences, that we might be interested in about each other. Who knows friendship might develop if we really click.
I appreciate that you are mature and can take care of your needs independently, without me needing to serve. And just ask anything you might be in doubt about. Open communication works well with me.
Other Things to Note
If you have any artistic talents, I am open to share both ways, like playing music for each other.
This is a good place for relaxing, reading a book, doing yoga, meditating, writing, running in the forest and taking long walks or visiting different places in the surroundings.
When I am at home we are sharing the living room, so I expect that you "go to bed" around 10 pm and getting up around 7-8 am. Weekends maybe later. I am using the living room for yoga and meditation most mornings. You can join or sit in the kitchen during that.
Due to perfume allergy, I would appreciate a lot, that you don't use strong perfumes during your stay here. No smoking.
If you want to do cooking in the kitchen while your stay - tell me about it in your arrival and we will co-ordinate.
Tell me also if you want to share breakfast/meals. otherwise I expect us to have our own meals.
You are very welcome for this part-time community living :-)
Neti is very kind and and a lovely hostess. I only stayed one night but her flat is around the corner from the train station and about 10 minutes to Copenhagen central station. It is very clean with but tiny. She made me a nice breakfast in the morning on her patio and was very accommodating. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at her place.
On behalf of Bed how was the person staying at Neti I can tell that he felt very welcome and found a relaxed hospitality at the stay there. He is sending his greetings for hosting him.
Neti was very nice and easy to be together with.
She also made me feel welcome and there were no problems. Remember to ask her to play you a finnish folksong - she is really good at it :)
Neti was a lovely and attentive host, who took the time to welcome me even when I arrived at an unexpected hour when she was in the middle of something. I enjoyed meals and conversation with her.
The attic to be shared is indeed charming and comfortable, filled with natural light. I spent two days here reading and writing and resting from my travels, and had a very relaxing time.
