The Stone Room is our masterpiece, a magnificent room with private bathroom and important decorations to make your stay even more enjoyable.
My name is Danilo, and I run this Bed & Breakfast in Florence with my colleagues Chiara and Valentina. We really love our work because it allows us to share our lives with people from all over the world! We work hard to maintain our B&B at its best, and we take great satisfaction in seeing our customers enjoy their holidays. We try to provide the highest service at the right price, because quality is our top priority!
Each morning in the common room between 8:00 and 10:00, we are delighted to serve our guests a typical Italian breakfast with milk, juice, pastries, toast, marmalade, nutella, biscotti, fruit, coffee/cappuccino, cereal, and cake. There’s no better way to start your tour of the city!
Remember: Check-in time is before 19:00. If you plan to arrive later than 19:00, we ask that you please inform us prior to your arrival; a 15 euro fee will be applied for late check-in.
We had a wonderful stay at Leopoldo. Clean and comfortable accomadations and a staff of friendly and most helpful young adults.
It is necessary to taxi to the center of town. But this is not negative in evaluating our stay, only a note to those considering staying here
This is a fantastic B&B that I highly recommend. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is tasty and my room was spacious. I loved the "green" concept and the decor. The location is a short bus ride into the heart of Florence and was easy to find. The surrounding neighborhood had a fantastic local restaurant called Cipiglio that was recommended by the staff...fantastic food at inexpensive prices and clearly loved by the locals...every table was filled by 9pm with a line-up out the door waiting for take-away pizza.
Staying at Danilo's bnb was excellent!
The service was extra kind and accessible at any hour of the day.
The place was even more satisfying comparing to other hotels we have already satyed at during our trip to italy.
The position is central and enables a "sally" to the hot parts of the city using the closest bus station (2 stops keeps you away from those points of interests...)
Extra recommended for those of you who plan on visitng and staying in florence for more than a single day.
The apartment was a bit out of the center (20 mins walk or 5 mins by bus). Also we found the room a bit small for its price (pictures may be a bit misleading), and it might get very hot during the night since we couldn't let the windows open due to the traffic noise. However, the staff was really helpful, and the breakfast was extensive. Also the apartment was very clean. Overal we had a good stay at B&B Leopoldo.
I had a great stay at B&B Leopoldo. Other than the hick-up of having to wait a few minutes to get into the room it went smoothly. I loved the location very easy to get back to the center of town with them having a bus stop for B&B area. Very roomy and comfortable stay here. Highly recommend.
B&B Leopoldo is GREAT.
Our 2 hosts were lovely and helpful. The girls spoke very good english and helped us with everything from recommending restaurants (1 of them you get a discount being a guest) to booking my wife an appointment at a great day spa.
The rooms are clean comfortable and are very spacious. The air conditioning guaranteed a good night sleep in the heat of Florence summer.
It was a 15 min walk to the heart of Florence or you could take the bus which was 2 min walk from the b&b (make sure you validate you bus ticket in the bus:(
Parking was great and was very safe for an extra fee.
We woke every morning to smiling faces, a tasty breakfast and cappuccino, the perfect way to start a day in Florence.
We stayed in 7 places in France and Italy and this was my daughter's favorite. Pleasant place, attentive staff, comfort of a kitchen for storing/making our own meals in the evening. Easy access to the historical center via a 15 minute bus ride. Clean, attractive, quiet and we definitely recommend.
B&B Leopoldo is in a great location that is just a short bus ride away from the hustle and bustle (& tourists) of the city centre. Valentina was very helpful and supplied us with a map of all the local spots for dining and made sure we had all the information we needed to have a great stay in Florence.
As there was a technical glitch the Leopoldo Team changed our booking and put us up in an apartment half a block from the B & B. The apartment was awesome - super clean and beautifully appointed. So we didn't really experience the B & B itself other than the staff who were all very very helpful including Lucas who took care of our late checkin in a torrential downpour. Wonderful people.
Thank you very much, Valentina & Chiara! As we were five friends travelling to florence together for a wedding, we enjoyed very much the common area and the privacy of an own apartement! The apartment is spacious, fits up to 6 adults without squeezing at all and is nicely kept. The second bathroom is a double plus if you have five people getting preparded for a wedding. We had a great stay! Supermarket and a cafe are placed nearby, 15min walk to the centre are easy to do and nevertheless the bus stop's nearby as well. But definitively would not recommend this location to anyone who is sensitive to noise! The street just in front of the apartement is heavily trafficked night and day - in any case go for ear plugs! We had a great time! best, Dea
