First of all I would like to thank you and your group very much again for staying at the villa, you have been really wonderful tenants to host!... Regarding your notes:
- I find the walk into town to be very pleasant, since you are waking along the typical wonderful vineyards of the area and I personally do it regularly when I am staying at the villa (it usually takes me about 10 maximum 12 minutes). Most of my guests walk into town and back all the time and are very happy to do so… In any case I normally recommend all of my guests to have a rental car, especially since it makes it easier to reach the various points of interest in the area.
- Regarding the shared bathroom, I have never actually received a complaint but I will look into it to make sure the villa’s standards and my guests' experience are constantly improved.
- The villa has a perfectly functioning heating system throughout (so not just for the bedrooms). As stated on the villa’s house rules it is possible to start the heating anytime, at a daily fee. Since the weather was actually particularly warm I though you were fine with the villa’s temperature (also because you have not mentioned to me that you felt cold in some of the rooms).
October is actually a great month for being in Greve, probably one of the very best, since it represents the grape harvest season not only in Greve but in the whole Chianti Classico region. The villa is equipped with both A/C and heating system so it is absolutely comfortable throughout the year, independently from the season.
- For your information the property has been passed down from generation to generation and the villa was built more than 200 years ago. It has been extensively renovated in 2014 in order to make the villa as much welcoming and comfortable as possible, while fully preserving the ancient feel and the beauty of a Residence of other times…
