Interaction with Guests
Generally, I take my cue from the guests. I have provided suggested itineraries for jet-lagged overseas travelers, have answered texts and calls on where the nearest post-office is, and have helped folks find the best restaurants. I have also left guests alone and have simply dropped off the keys and stopped by every week or so to water plants and change the bed if needed. You tell me what works for you!
It is a very quick bus trip down Main Street to the heart of downtown!
Shoes off at the door please.
No smoking or colognes and perfumes - I have allergies to strong smells.
Feel free to use my spices and condiments, but if you finish something please replace it.
No bikes in the house, but I have a bike bolt in the garage if you want to use that.
If you want to enjoy a fire please be careful to watch for sparks.
Please no sleeping overnight on the couch because I have a weird love for my couch (don't worry I'm trying to work on it with my therapist) - if you need an air mattress just ask.
If you use the BBQ please remember to turn the propane off afterwards
If you have questions about how to operate anything, please just ask.
No parties or loud music.
Please lock all doors and windows when you are out.
Great host, check in and out - no problems. Very prompt in communications. No hazzels. We loved our host and AirBnB. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful trendy apartment.
Would love to stay here again!
Thank you! kind regards,
Jeff & Wendy
Fantastic experience all around. The place was amazing and in a great location. Checkin was seamless. Would stay again in a heart beat.
My partner and I stayed at Jocelyn's apartment for a month and we had a great experience. First of all, she is very prompt and courteous at responding any questions we had. The apartment is clean and quiet, two of my most important criteria. Also, the building in which it is located is well cared for (the landscaping is beautiful). The location is great : close to public transport (2-3 bus stations within 5 min walk) yet retreated from the noise of the main street. What I particularly loved : the lighting, the fact that we were welcome to use any food that she had, the bath towels. In short, the description is very accurate and I would highly recommend this place.
What a delight it was to stay at Jocelyn's apartment. Spotless, beautiful presentation, everything we needed and close to great coffee and transport. Loved the sun streaming into the living room in the morning and the outside garden was perfect to relax. A perfect size for a couple and Jocelyn is a wonderful host. J&B Australia
Great place, fantastic location and super friendly host — we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Sie hat eine Freundin beauftragt, uns zu empfangen, da sie selber verhindert war. Die Freundin war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles gezeigt.
About the Host, Jocelyn
I am a fun loving and easy going girl who moved to Vancouver from a small town in the interior of BC. I love to travel and spend a lot of my summer trying to find the best swim spots. I thought while I'm away I would love to lend my place to other avid travellers.
I work for a non-profit that works with at-risk young people in Vancouver. I love to give back to my community when I'm not travelling or spending time with loved ones.
I picked my apartment because of the great sense of community you get when you're walking up and down Main street. There are a lot of wonderful little stores including one with the best spicy feta dip you could ever have.
I love trying local wines, cheeses, and beers, so if that interests you please let me know, I have quite a few suggestions. I also love being a tourist in my own city so if you're looking for fun things to do or the best restaurants to eat at I would be more than happy to compile a list for you.
I hope you enjoy my place as much as I do! Happy travels!
