Tessa and Sean were great hosts! They answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. They were available by phone/email throughout our stay. However, we didn't need to contact them because the written information they prepared in advance was comprehensive. Their home is clean, organized, and restful. The neighborhood (email hidden) to visit.
I live in the neighborhood and booked Tess and Sean's apt for my parents visit. If available, I'll suggest this apt for any future family visiting. Tess was quick in responding and left helpful instructions for apt needs, place was very clean, and perfect location for park slope.
This is indeed a charming apartment, well maintained and with character. The neighborhood is lively and Brooklyn 7th Avenue is fast becoming the new 5th! We were visiting our daughter who lives in Park Slope and spent two fun filled days with excellent dining options and interesting boutiques. The Barclays Center is within easy walking distance and offers a host of entertainment.
We had a perfectly lovely stay at Tess and Sean's apartment in Park Slope. This is a perfect location, convenient to many subway stops in a charming neighborhood. The apartment was clean, and just as charming as the pictures depict. We will definitely be coming back!
We had a terrific time staying in Tessa and Sean's apartment. They describe it as charming. It is that and more. Filled with wonderful old furniture, lots of angles and corners, tin ceiling and wooden shutters, the apartment has plenty of personality, a large and comfortable bedroom, spectacular old plank floors and a cosiness that was perfect for a spring weekend in Brooklyn.
In the heart of Park Slope, with plenty of restaurants, corner markets, and a short walk to the park, the location was central. If you want a feel for the real Brooklyn and the life of working (and successful) artists, it would be hard to do better.
As hosts, Tessa and Sean couldn't have been more helpful. They turned over an apartment that was freshly cleaned, checked to see what we needed, accommodated our schedule, and gave us good advice. It was exactly the type of experience one hopes for from AirBNB--a chance to get a fresh perspective and meet people whom you'd like to have as friends. Terrific time. Many thanks.
Charming is the perfect word to describe Tess and Sean's apartment. My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this clean and cozy place, that is super convenient to shops, restaurants and the subway. Communication was fantastic with Tess. She always responded within minutes to any questions I had. I'd gladly stay here again the next time I travel to Brooklyn.
We had a lovely stay at Tess and Sean's apartment in March 2014. We picked it based on the location and the many positive reviews, and were pleased to find that everything was as advertised. The apartment is in a great location - close to more than one subway line, a few blocks from Prospect Park, and right in the heart of Park Slope. It was very clean and bright. Though the bedroom faces the street, we had no trouble sleeping - their block really quiets down after hours. Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure. They also provided us with clean towels for our stay. Coordinating with Tess was really easy and she was very responsive to questions. They were great hosts. Definitely recommended!
Tess and Sean's apartment is a lovely spot in dynamic Park Slope. They are wonderful hosts who provided the best of comfort and amenities during my stay. I loved the warmth of the apartment and its decor, making my stay in the apartment as enjoyable as my adventures outside and around Park Slope.
I come to Park Slope at least twice yearly to visit my baby granddaughter, and this is my favourite stay so far!
The bedroom is next to the busy street, but I had no problems falling and staying asleep.
The apartment was very lovely, super organized and clean. The owners were very accommodating. It is in a great location, with the best children's shop directly next door. Garbage truck and other traffic noise is rather loud in the bedroom, but you get used to it.
Tessa and Sean were great hosts. The apartment was very nice. It was very clean and welcoming. The location is great. It is centrally located to restaurants, bars, shops and the park. We had a great time there and would easily recommend to anyone considering this apartment.
