The apartment is cozy, romantic, and offers you complete freedom to come and go. The owner's description is totally accurate. The neighborhood is safe, with plenty of amenities, including two of the most convenient subway lines. It's also a quick walk to parks, museum, and library. I would return in a heartbeat.

Linda's apartment is an extremely nice place to spend time to. Located in close proximity to the subway (not more than 5 min walk), the locale is beautiful and the apartment can be called 'Linda's art gallery'.
Linda's brother Wayne welcomed us quite warmly on our arrival and was always there when needed.
Our stay was perfect and would definitely be staying at this place on our next visit to NY.
Thanks a lot.
Linda's place was lovely and restful and a home from home. I'd thoroughly recommend it and Brooklyn came into bloom just as we were there.
Great neighborhood and place exactly as described. And for any football (soccer) fans out there you can watch that in the comfort of her lovely place too. Brother Wayne very helpful.
We had a great time at Linda's place. The location is awesome, plenty of towels were provided and Wayne was super nice and helpful.
Linda's brownstone appartment was perfect for my teenager daughters and I. It's spacious, clean and really confortable. We appreciated a quiet neighborhood and 2 really confortable beds every night, after having walked and walked all the day to visit Manhattan. My daughters were happy to talk to her friends thanks to the Wi-FI.
Subway is really closed from the appartment, 5 minutes walking, so south of Manhattan can be reached in 20 or 25 minutes.
We were welcomed by Linda's brother, Wayne, who is extremely nice and reassuring.
Our stay in New York was fabulous, but to short, and we'd love to come again soon. Thanks to Linda and Wayne.
Linda was absolutely lovely to coordinate with. Her home was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend staying with her.

About the Host, Linda
I am an international traveler and I understand the needs of those who travel on a budget. My travels include traveling to Ghana, West Africa with The Experiment in International Living, Germany, Amsterdam, Iceland, and throughout the Caribbean. My passion is fine art and I have worked on numerous art projects throughout my lifetime. My greatest adventure in the arts was traveling to the island of Anguilla and participating in the first International Arts Festival on that island. One of the five artists that traveled with me was the grand prize winner and has been celebrated with a postage stamp of the art piece that won the contest. 43 artists from around the world participated. I enjoy meeting people and enhancing their travel experience when they visit New York and Washington, DC. I am very resourceful and always willing to be of assistance. Traveling is theraputic and I enjoy knowing that the experience is rewarding for my guests as much as it is for me when I travel.
