Spent a day at Carmel's lovely place. The place is exactly as described, self contained & clean. Carmel was a wonderful host & made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommend the place to everyone.
Carmel was a wonderful host and we really enjoyed our two nights staying at her home. A definite recommended stay for Kaikoura.
The room was spacious and clean. It was only a short walk from town and Carmel was very helpful and welcoming . The breakfast selection was also very nice.
Carmel was a fantastic host for us. The room was spacious and very clean. The food in the morning was delicious and the company was excellent. Carmel even volunteered to show us around town a bit when we found out that our whale watching trip was postponed.
Carmel is a really sweet and pleasant lady. She made me feel at home instantly. Her hobbies are gardening and that is why her house is so relaxing to live in. Room is really clean and breakfast is awesome. I would like to come back one day. Thanks for hosting!
We had a wonderful time in Kaikoura and Carmel was a fantastic host. She was there to greet us after a long day of driving and provided good tips on where to grab dinner for the evening. In the morning (after a visit to the seal pups!), a lovely continental breakfast was set out for us. The room was private and very comfortable. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer - thanks again Carmel!
Carmel is very nice. She is very warm-hearted but give us enough privacy. She gives us great suggestions on food and fishing which both are amazing.
Camel has a beautiful houses and a lovely gust room for us to stay. It's wonderful to be here. And the breakfast is very delicious.

We were made very welcome by Carmel who looked after us very well. The room was really lovely and very clean with all the faciliteis we needed including two easy chairs. The bathroom was a little small but really no problem and the shower was great. The location was just rght and the view from the window when the clouds lifted was terrific. We did enjoy our leisurely breakfast (cereals, toast, lots of fresh fruit) provided by Carmel and a long chat with our host. Kaikoura was a very nice town and the walk around the headland to see the seals and the wonderful scenery was very enjoyable. One day was definitely not enough.
