  • Bob and Lucy's cottage was just what we were looking for. Bob and Lucy are very welcoming and our stay was very comfortable. We loved the garden and especially enjoyed our fresh eggs in the morning. We hope to travel to the area again and would most definitely like to stay at the cottage again.

  • We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cottage is just as expected, charming and beautiful. The setting and land is breathtaking. We stayed with our two young children and we're perfectly comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Bob and Lucy are also very warm and kind hosts who think of everything in order to make your stay wonderful.

  • Bob and Lucy's cabin was very charming and offered all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay in wine country. The hosts were out of town, but we were informed ahead of time that friends would be tending to the farm and hosting us. Everything went smoothly and the hosts were very nice. We met Jesse the goat who was very friendly, the two sheep who were...well....sheep-ish, and a pen full of chickens who produced fresh eggs for breakfast! It was fun to walk out back and watch the animals, gaze into the Koi pond etc. The setting and location of the house was a bit less private than I had expected- as the main house and guest cabin are situated perpendicular to one another, but all in all it was a much better alternative to a hotel room!

  • We loved staying at the wine country cottage! It's perfectly located between Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and all the wineries you could possibly go to. It did rain our entire trip, so we didn't get to explore the property much, but we just loved how much the cottage felt like "home". Bob and Lucy were so helpful and sweet, they gave us great tips on local activities and restaurants, and even brought us fresh eggs from their chickens and coffee. Everything you need to stay in and relax, as well as explore the drop dead gorgeous surrounding areas. We cannot wait to go back!!

  • My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Bob and Lucy's cottage. We were there for 8 nights and it was a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. We travel a lot for work and pleasure, both internationally and domestic, and almost always stay in rentals. Without a doubt, this was one of our favorite finds. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and cozy. Loved all of their "little touches" especially the farm animals, fresh eggs, and wonderful map and welcome book of the area. Definitely take a drive up Highway 1 if the weather is nice and your time permits - this was the highlight of our trip! I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you Bob and Lucy!

  • This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Bob & Lucy's cottage so that should tell you how much we love it. The cottage is perfect, with everything you need (I looks like the pictures they post). The property is also beautiful and so serene and relaxing. I personally love the animals! You can even pet the goats. Bob was such a great host, he provided us with fresh eggs in the mornings and gave us recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We love it hear and will definitely be going back!

  • It is wonderful when the photos look great but the cottage in person is even better! My husband and I got to explore Sonoma and Napa Valleys and came home to rest at the wine cottage in peace and creature comforts that felt like home. Bob and Lucy gave us great info about the area and side trips. How can you beat waking up and seeing goats, chickens, friendly dogs and koi that let you pet them? 1000 times better than any hotel. We thank them for having such an enjoyable getaway available.

  • Awesome experience. Bob and Lucy were fantastic and very helpful. The place is perfect for a couple. Very spacious, clean and well stocked. The location is awesome -- central for Sonoma wineries and a beautiful and short drive through the mountains to Napa. Without repeating what everyone else has already said, I just say once more this is all true and a great place to stay. We definitely hope to be back very soon staying here again.

  • This little cottage was amazing! Katie and I loved our visit during our honeymoon road trip from Portland, OR to San Francisco. Quiet, clean and comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts, interacting with us from the moment we arrived and quick to give us some great suggestions! The location worked out fantastic for us, less than 15 minutes from historic Railroad Square, but also convenient to the access roads for Sonoma and the north end of the Napa Valley. We'll definitely check in with Bob and Lucy on our next visit to the wine country!

  • Cottage was exactly as described. My wife enjoyed staying in this area very much. The owners are available to help with whatever you need but also are aware of the need for privacy. Nice find.
