The Space

The SECOND BEDROOM of my lovely flat is up for guests whilst I am away on a yoga retreat. The room is big and spacious and I always clear wardrobe space for my guests :-) It is much nicer than in the photos (please see feedback from my other listing).
You would be sharing with my lovely housemate Liz who works nearby. Towels and breakfast essentials provided.

Welcome to my bright and homely flat in the Heart of Hoxton, East London. Situated just 5 minutes walk from Hoxton Square and the busy restaurants, bars and clubs of Shoreditch and Hackney, this is the perfect place to begin your London adventures.
The flat is a bright and airy two-bedroomed flat with a shared outdoor area accessible from the back and perfect for breakfast coffee in the sun. The flat comprises of two double bedrooms, bathroom and open plan living and kitchen space. The flat has two decent size double bedrooms with super comfy beds with a bathroom and open-plan kitchen/living area.
The flat has wi-fi, washing machine and dishwasher in case you wanted to spend a night cooking at home.
in terms of amenities, you couldn't get better for serving some of the delights that East and Central London have to offer. We are just 5 minutes walk from Old Street tube station on the Northern line with direct buses into the centre of town. There is a Boris bike station at the top of the road, a fantastic local pub serving delicious pizza on the corner and excellent transport links to the city.
Hoxton is situated within walking distance of Shoreditch, Islington, Brick Lane and Broadway Market, a 30 minute walk down the canal. . We are also just 10 minutes walk from Hoxton Station on the overground.
For local Vietnamese and Turkish restaurants, small art galleries, coffee shops and vintage shopping this is the place to be!
The street couldn't be better located and maintains a quiet and Gerogian charm despite being a stone's throw from the centre of the action. There are a host of amenities well within walking distance including great coffee shops a 24 hour shop and Tesco Metro. Whether you are looking for a quiet space within walking distance to a vibrant night-life and myriad of bars or a central point from which to explore all that London has to offer, this is the place to be.
When you've had enough of the streets you can come and chill out in the greenery of the back-yard before resuming your London adventures.
The reason for the slightly higher price over the Christmas period is because I will be away and so you would actually have the place to yourselves for the majority of your stay!

  • Great room and Chloe was very friendly! There is a lot of good points, there is some: the room was lovely, the bed was very good, Chloe likes to help to find something to do in London, the area is very good to visit (I was here for the job, but there a lot of thing to view here!).

  • This was the best place to stay in London. It was close to everything and it is a real modern and young neighbourhood. Chloe was a great hostess with a laid back attitude and was happy to help with anything. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to London.

  • Chloe is a legendary host. Her place is very nice and phenomenally well located. Chloe was very welcoming, and even though she was away when we arrived, she left us a great arrival letter with excellent information about her place and the area. Highly recommended stay!

  • Chloe's place is a gem, and so is she. Definitely recommended as a spot to stay. We shared the space with her for two nights and had it to ourselves for two others, both were great.

The space itself is lovely, with a great feel. High ceilings, beautiful light, and a nice secluded feel on a quiet street with the back windows facing a giant ivy-covered brick wall. Of course, there are neighbors to either side with connected back patios, so that's not quite private space, but still lovely to be able to sit in.

She's got two bike sharing stations very close to her place, some lovely pubs, and an easy ride or walk to the canal in Shoreditch where we happened on a lovely festival and had a great stroll. Also, the church one block northeast has gorgeous gardens for a picnic, although they shut the gates early evening.

Chloe was super helpful, providing us with a welcome letter documenting details like the wifi password and recommendations for local restaurant favorites and the like, as well as a map and guidebook.
Furthermore, she was super gracious when we accidentally left behind some stuff that had gotten kicked under the bed, and she offered to mail it back to us.

The bed is comfy, and the room has piles of storage, so plenty of room to unpack which is key if you're staying for any length of time. We were quite pleased with this experience and would gladly stay with Chloe again!

  • A nice flat in a nice place, cool and quiet but not too far from centre of London.
We rent a room but we get a flat because Chloe was on holidays. Il was gorgeous.
We did our best to keep the place clean and break nothing because Chloe was very confident. about us.
We didn't meet Chloe but we suppose she is a very nice person.

  • Amazing and convenient!

Chloe's Hoxton Home was a wonderful place to stay.  It is on a quaint an quiet lane with a nice pub on the corner and shops close by.  Hoxton is a very trendy up an coming neighborhood with lots of restaurants, clubs, shopping and nice parks.  It is just a few minutes walk to the bus stops and tube station from which you can get to anywhere in London.

The apartment was immaculately kept and my room was large and had ample storage for clothes and misc items.  The bed was very comfortable to fall into after a day of shopping or a night of clubbing.  Tea, toast and fruit were offered as well as use of the kitchen if wanted.  The apartment was nicely furnished and it was nice to sit in the living room and watch a but of tele before bed sometimes.

Chloe was a gracious hostess and was very helpful and informative about everything from getting to the post office to mapping out some interesting things to see around Hoxton.  She has a very nice neighbor who was also very helpful to me in a time of need and I truly appreciate her help!

I would absolutely stay in this lovely Hoxton Home again and highly recommend it to anyone taking a trip to London.  Whether you are exploring the city or just using London as your base and exploring outside the city this is great place as far a location on the tube for getting to Kings Cross and other train stations.  Very easy to get to from Heathrow and Gatwick too!

I give this home my highest recommendation for cleanliness, convenience, graciousness of hostess, comfort and location.

You wont regret staying in this lovely home!

I am a passionate and creative individual, currently part-time teacher, therapeutic arts facilitator and social entrepreneur. I love travelling and am so excited to have people from all over the world come and stay in my flat and enjoy the best of what London has to offer. I am a keen reader and writer and you will see my room is wallpapered by my favourite books. I love to cook and whenever possible eat al fresco as friends. I love beautiful images and am equally inspired in the open countryside or urban sprawl of the city. I am happiest when on my bike with the wind in my hair, meditating in a yoga class or exploring the wilderness with friends. I will be away a lot with work over the summer and am hoping to take more short trips throughout the year and thought Airbnb is the perfect opportunity to share my home with like-minded travellers.
