The Space

Welcome to my bright and homely flat in the Heart of Hoxton, East London. Situated just 5 minutes walk from Hoxton Square and the busy restaurants, yoga studios, bars and clubs of Shoreditch and Hackney, this is the perfect place to begin your London adventures.
Whether with family or friends, on business or pleasure make your stay what you want it to be.
The flat is a bright and airy two-bedroomed flat with a shared outdoor area accessible from the back and perfect for breakfast coffee in the sun. The flat has two decent size double bedrooms with super comfy beds, bathroom and open-plan kitchen/living area.
Staying in or going out you will have access to wi-fi, washing machine and dishwasher.
In terms of amenities, you couldn't get better for serving some of the delights that East and Central London have to offer. We are just 5 minutes walk from Old Street tube station on the Northern line with direct buses into the centre of town. There is a Boris bike station at the top of the road, a fantastic local pub serving delicious pizza on the corner and excellent transport links to the city.
Hoxton is situated within walking distance of Shoreditch, Islington, Brick Lane and Broadway Market, a 30 minute walk down the canal. We are also just 10 minutes walk from Hoxton Station on the overground with access to Stratford Olympic Park and Westfields.
For local Vietnamese and Turkish restaurants, small art galleries, coffee shops and vintage shopping this is the place to be!
The street couldn't be better located and maintains a quiet and Gerogian charm despite being a stone's throw from the centre of the action. There are a host of amenities well within walking distance including great coffee shops a 24 hour shop and Tesco /Sainsbury's supermarkets. Whether you are looking for a quiet space within walking distance to a vibrant night-life and myriad of bars or a central point from which to explore all that London has to offer, this is the place to be.
When you've had enough of the streets you can come and chill out in the greenery of the back-yard before resuming your London adventures or attend a yoga class at the numerous local studios.

Guest Access

You will have access to the whole flat except for my bedroom. This includes fridge, cooking utensils, washing machine, dishwasher, herbs and spices etc. I work Monday to Friday and spend my weekends catching up with friends.

Interaction with Guests

I will be present during your stay and am always available for chats and recommendations on where to go, the best ways to travel etc. I hope you enjoy my flat as much as I do!

The Neighborhood

Hoxton is a vibrant, well -located hub of East London life. You don't have to walk far to sit and sup latte for breakfast, noodles for dinner, attend the pub quiz, stroll down the canal or listen to fashionable DJ's on the dance floor. even better, the flat is a haven of calm. Friendly and open neighbours, a flowering backyard and peaceful ambience for time out.

Getting Around

Public transport couldn't be better whatever your preference. Tube, overground, mainline rail and plenty of buses all within walking distance. Boris bikes galore if you prefer to get around in the open air and if you're feeling particularly adventurous you can even walk into Oxford Circus or Waterloo in 40 minutes. From the airport get a train to Liverpool Street Station and then a bus/tube/taxi or tube to Old St on the Northern Line and 7 minute walk.

House Rules

Welcome to my happy Hoxton Home! I look forward to hosting you as a guest and hope you have a pleasant stay. I will be in the flat whilst you are there and very much look forward to meeting you. I do not provide breakfast but please do help yourself to any condiments and staples like tea, coffee and milk.
Whilst staying in the flat, I ask that you treat my home with respect and care. There is a fully equipped kitchen and please feel free to use anything that you wish. There is also space in the fridge for you to store your food and a shelf in the cupboard on the left of the cooker. I expect guests to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen. Dishes can either be washed in the sink or you can use the dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets can be found under the sink.
For washing your clothes, please help yourself to the washing machine, washing powder is also kept under the sink and there is a white clothes horse under the white sofa in the living area. You will also find an iron in the kitchen and ironing board under the leather sofa in the living space.
Smoking is permitted outside but not in the bedroom please! I would also like to remind you that if you come back late, other people in the block will hear you whilst in the hallways, so do try to be quiet. Also always ensure that you double lock the door when you leave the flat. I live in a residential area and ask that guests refrain from late night parties whilst staying. There are plenty of local clubs, bars and venues to keep the party going away from home.
Through the back door and down the fire escape you will find the communal back yard, a lovely place to relax in greenery and peace, despite being in the centre of the city! Two of the green metal chairs and one of the green metal tables is mine and can be used at any time. The neighbours with the other metal table set live just across the fire escape and are super friendly. Please do not use any of the wooden tables and chairs in the back yard and always remember to bolt the back door when you return to the flat.
If you are staying for over a week, a cleaner will visit to clean the communal areas and bedroom. If after a week you wish to have your sheets and towels changed please do let me know!
