There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. Hvolsvöllur, Iceland

Like said before then the location is great if you are travelling in South Iceland. It is a good location for staying for at least 2 nights and doing some day tours from the cabin. There are lot of waterfalls in the area like Skógafoss, Kvenufoss, Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi and Gluggafoss and the Glaicer and Volcano Eyjafjallajökull is located on the top of the mountains behind the farm. There is also a short drive to Sólheimajökull glacier and Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the Black sand beach Reynisfjara is in reach as well. Volcanoes like Hekla, Tindfjallajökull, Eyjafjallajökull and Katla are also in the area. So there is a lot to do and see.
