Be close to nature with our native hut made with locally sourced natural materials! This open hut is skillfully made by our very own Kuya Pepe, one of the caretakers of the property. The hut has built-in benches on three sides and a huge table. At night, we bring out the table and hang our very comfortable (and proudly Philippine-made) Hammock Republic Duoyan designed with individual mosquito nets.

The space
Since it is located near Dolipay River, our open air hut gets quite cool in the evening even on the hottest summer nights. Our proximity to the river means that we can hear the rushing water at all times of the day and night.

It's a rustic hut but it provides modern conveniences. It has electricity so you can charge your gadgets and do some work, if you are feeling inspired. There is also wifi, so you can go online and stay connected with friends and family.

You'll have your own private toilet and shower right next to the hut, equipped with Western-style flush toilet (with handheld spray) and shower.

Like in any typical Philippine rural setting, there are free roaming animals in the property (cats, dogs, chickens, roosters, carabao). This property offers you a chance to reconnect with nature. For added comfort, make sure to pack your ear plugs and insect repellant!

There are no kitchen facilities, but your booking includes home-cooked Bulusanon dinner and breakfast prepared by Ate Ely.
We can accommodate up to three hammocks in the hut.

I love to travel, and do so either on my own or with friends. I used to city or country hop, but I'm now looking into picking a destination and staying put for at least two weeks, trying my hand at traveling slow and living like a local. Though I'm not a fan of whisky, my favorite quote is from Johnny Walker: "Whatever your dream, keep walking."
