Beautifully decorated flat, situated on a quiet back street of Covent Garden in the heart of Central London. Refurbished to a particluarly high standard paying exceptional attention to detail to the overall finish and decoration.

As the apartment is situated on the 7th floor there are exceptional views of London giving the apartment excellent natural light. Broadband WiFi available.

Kitchen: fully equipped with kettle, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a breakfast counter with two high chairs, sipping your morning tea while looking out from large windows overlooking the roofs of London, St. Paul's cupola and the Gherkin and all the way to the docklands. Really breathtaking.

Living Room: With TV. Sofa that turns into a single bed and an armchair that turns into another single bed

Bedroom: with large built in wardrobe and a double bed

Toilet: with shower (email hidden) washing and dryer machine

IN NOVEMBER 2012 THE BATHROOM AND SHOWER HAVE BEEN COMPLETELLY REFITTED AND ARE BRAND NEW. NOW THE FALT HAS A LARGER SHOWER AND IMPROVED WATER PRESSURE.

Plus: iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fan and an extra electric heating for when it is really really cold (in addition to the regular central heating which is working perfectly)

The whole flat has wooden floor, central heating and elevator (lift)

  • I stayed for almost 7 weeks in Max's apartment in Macklin Street and had a very good time there. Brillant location in a very central but not crowded area. Well-equiped but not at all "stuffy" apartment. Lots of light and a nice view from 7th floor. I had my big kids visiting and they slept well in the extra beds in the living-room. The few questions I had was dealt with immediately by Max or his contact-person in London. Recommended!

  • Absolutely great stay and the hosts were very helpful. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities and very cleanly. The housekeeper was very helpful and showed us how to use all appliances. Great stay and in a great location, close to everything and great bars and restaurants. Thank you

  • The flat is conviently located in a quiet side street in Covent Garden. Pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and tube stops are in easy walking distance. The flat was clean, well stocked with cooking utensils and everything you might need. We didn't meet Max in person (the housekeeper awaited us at the flat), but in our E-Mail communications he was always quick to respond, nice and uncomplicated. He even let us check in earlier. This is a place we would definitively book again.

  • Really nice flat in the heart of London, it's the perfect location. I've been there with three friends and we really enjoyed it !!!

    The owner manages it in a really professional way. You'll find everything you need (even the Oyster card for the metro and some tourism books).

    Next time I'll go to London, I won't even think about staying somewhere else.

  • The flat is great, very well located, and well furnished, including in the kitchen. Max was very nice and responsive and very flexible, including with a bit of a last minute extension of our stay. The internet works well too. I would definitely stay there again on a future trip.

  • The flat is in the very core of London in a quiet street right behind Holborn Underground station: it's really the ideal place for a short stay in London, with everything at reach (supermarket, shops, bars&co) and walking distance to the main attractions! The kitchen has whatever you need for cooking, and an amazing view!! The shower is really ok!
    The apartment is cozy, comfortable and clean. Maybe it's too crowded for four people...Very nice and welcoming the housekeeper!

  • Very conveniently located flat near the Tube and Covent Garden shops. Clean and well equipped. Great communication from Max and no problems whatsoever with our stay. Nice bathroom and well-stocked kitchen. Very clean. Recommended!

  • Bright airy flat in great location next to Drury Lane. Very convenient to sight see London & attend shows. The Covent garden & Holborn (on line to Heathrow) tube stations are both close by. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Stayed with my Mother & it was good to be able to have separate rooms. Apartment is clean & the housekeeper was very friendly & explained all we needed to know about the apartment.

  • Although we didn't get to personally meet Max he always responded to our emails very quickly and was very helpful. His housekeeper met us upon arrival and showed us around the flat, she too was lovely.
    The flat itself is very clean, bright and spacious and has everything you need, including a great shower and washer/dryer. As for location it's fantastic, central to everything, walking distance to major attractions and great cafés. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again and highly recommend this flat .

  • We had a wonderful experience at Max's flat. It was perfect for my adult son and me, as the living room had a separate door. Super in how clean it was and how well-located on a very quiet street but close to EVERYTHING. I am grateful to have my first airbnb experience to be so positive and would recommend this flat to anyone.
