Julie was great in arranging our booking last minute! Her loft was cute, chic, and very tidy. It was very convenient in that we could just come and go as we pleased. Parking was very easy and her location is just off the highway. However, a car is very necessary. In order to go into Montreal, we drove from her place to the nearest metro station. We parked there and took the metro into the city.
Thanks, Julie for all your help!

Julie made share we had all the relevant information to enjoy her loft well in advance of our arrival -- which made finding the place and getting settled super easy. The loft itself is exactly as shown and described, well-appointed and spacious. Julie's place is an excellent base from which to explore Montreal and the South Shore. It is a stone's throw from major roads and railways, while also being quiet and peaceful and oriented towards a field and Mont Saint Bruno.
My boxfriend and me had a fabulous 4 days at Julie's loft in St-Basile! Entering through a workshop on the ground floor, you go up the stairs and have your own little apartment - the place is very spacious and we felt at home right away!! The communication with Julie was fast and great, she gave us a lot of advice what to do in the area and kept asking if we have any further questions or needed help. She and her family even let us use the BBQ area when they left for vacation. Since we already had been in Montreal we wanted a quieter place outside of the city and St-Basile was just perfect. Good weather, lots of farm stands with fresh produce, lovely towns along the canal, river and several lakes, good food and great people. Would definitely come back! Altogether - thanks a lot again Julie for the great stay we had!!
Decent stay for our trip to Montreal and Quebec City. It was easy-ish to find, and Julie sent some information prior to the trip, so any nearby facilities (groceries etc.) were easy to find as well.
If you are looking for a place to sleep only, this is a good choice, especially for the money. If you are a neat freak, this is probably not for you though. But, for us, this worked perfectly well.
We are from montreal, we are a married couple, we work in artistic domain and we love to meet new people all around the world! We love to receive guest in our loft and travel with airbnb! It's a great way to meet nice people and to learn where are the best place to go when we are on a vacation!
