About This Listing
Ideal solution for a single traveler, or a pair of friends, for either business or tourism: central, modern and design-ish, despite in a XIII century former convent. Unfit to couples (as the place may not offer adequate privacy).
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THESE FEW LINES AND THE HOUSE RULES BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION REQUEST
You're welcome to stay in the GUESTROOM of my apartment in the very heart of the city of Milan (3 tram stops from the Duomo), located in an ex XIII century convent, right in front of the basilic of S. Lorenzo (one of the most beautiful of Milan, faced by a glorious Roman colonnade).
The area is one of the most vital neighborhood of Milan, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and clubs of any range of price.
The apt. is in perfect conditions and technologically up-to-date (a/c, broadband wireless internet access, 3d vertical projector with home-theatre, hi-fi stereo, printer, dishwasher, dryer and washing machine, treadmill, ellyptical and gym-bench, all there for your -reasonable- use).
You will be staying in the GUESTROOM, on the upper-floor (mezzanine), and have your own bathroom; towels and sheets available; sweet breakfast included (cake or biscuits, fruits and juice); however, while you can eat in the place, cooking (i.e., use of the stove) shall be limited.
[NOTE: Because of the distribution of the spaces in the house, this solution is ideal for either business of leisure trips of single travelers or pairs of friends; it is, instead, probably less fit to couples, as the mezzanine may not afford them the needed privacy.]
Very well connected to public transports (tram stop 50 mt. away, three stops from the Duomo - served by metro lines 1 and 3; 7-8 minutes walk from line 2 S.Ambrogio metro stop).
Preference for guests positively reviewed already.
How to reach the apartment from Milan's airports and central train station:
From the central train station:
- good option is a taxi (approximately 15 euros for a 10 minutes ride);
- alternatively, you may

Other Things to Note
[NOTE: You will be staying the GUESTROOM of the apartment where I live as well. The mezzanine is located two floors away from my bedroom. However, because of the distribution and delimitation of spaces in the house, this solution is ideal for either business of leisure trips of single travelers or pairs of friends; it is, instead, probably less fit to couples, as the mezzanine may not afford them the needed privacy.]

The appartment is amazing and fulfills all requirements you could have - since it was my first times in milan, matteo was providing me lots of recommendations which have been a pure success! I will go to milan again and if possible i would stay at the same place for sure! Highly recommendable...
Matteo was very helpful up on our arrival and the place is very well located. He was very precise while explaining how everything works in his place and His house is very clean and well designed.
We had a different experience in this AirB&B because we felt part of the host's daily routine, which made us feel we could have been disturbing him. In contrast it felt like we were visiting a close friend.
Matteo has been a great host, making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. It was, he gave me all necessary information and recommendations to enjoy my stay and the visit of Milan and to discover places and restaurants. The apartment is great, clean and very stylish, and located in the very heart of Milan but still in a very quiet backyard. Everything is accessible by foot, starting with Duomo after 10 min walk on a very lively street. Metro lines 1, 2 and 3 are also 10 min walk from the apartment, and the tram few meters away. I fully recommend!
I've stayed at Matteo's place for 10 days over the Design Week. The experience was nothing but great. The place is very central with everything you want at your doorstep. 10 minutes walk from the very center of the city - Duomo. The apartment is very modern with some nice design features. It is facing small internal courtyard so it very quite and peaceful during the night. Matteo is a great host and always looked after me during my stay and made sure that I have everything I needed. Private bathroom is a great advantage too. The apartment has a few simple rules that you need to follow but it is understandable because the place is really nice and Matteo is trying hard to keep it that way for everyone to enjoy.
Matteo was an incredible host! Honest, accommodating and helpful. My bf and I stayed there for 4 days and the place was exactly as it was described. Matteo went above and beyond to help us with advice and suggestions regarding the city. We highly reccommend to anyone looking for a place in Milan.

About the Host, Matteo
My job requires me to bounce over the EU quite often and as soon as I'm done with it I try to extend my stay and explore a bit the place I've been not-visiting so far!
You're welcome to be my guest in Milan, where I can offer you a nice bedroom, a private bathroom and a very central position to explore the city.
