The house has just 1 large bedroom, for a baby we can bring in a cot (for free)in the masterbedroom.
Nancy's House is just stunning. The perfect place when you want to relax in a beautiful Dutch city.
We'll come back for sure!
We stayed at Nancy's lovely house for a month. We wanted to find a nice, quiet place to write and this was perfect. The kitchen is nicely equipped so that we could do a lot of cooking at home. It was great to buy fresh fish and cook at home! The weekly market is right behind the house, as are many shops. The internet works well. The views from the house are beautiful - it was so nice to look out at canals from every window. There are lots of people walking by and everyone stops to admire this house. The swimming pool in Enkhuizen is outstanding --- indoor waterslide!! Lots of nice walks and bike paths. It was very, very hard to leave! Nancy was a very nice host and everything worked easily. Thank you!!!
The most amazing house with everything you could ever want. The village was so cute, and we were very lucky to have two days of absolutely gorgeous sunny weather, which made me want to move to Enkhuizen! Will definitely be back, and wouldn't stay anywhere but Nancy's house!
Beautiful country, a unique home in the heart of the lovely town and a nice caring host - what more do you need for a better trip? Many thanks to Nancy for the wonderful days!
Nancy is great, fast to respond and she was very flexible with arrival times.
A very nice holiday house, in a wonderful city to explore. The house has been renovated recently and combines traditional decoration with modern bathroom and kitchen. Our son really appreciated the open-air playgrounds in Sprookjeswonderland and near the open air museum. Nancy is a great host. I have put this house on our list to visit again when the weather improves !
While searching the airb&b map with guesthouses, we found the beautiful house from Nancy. And started to love it from first view.
It was our first stay in Netherlands, and we decided to stay in Enkhuizen just due to this house.
When starting the reservation, we get a very good feeling from our conversation with Nancy.
But when we arrived, it was even better than expected. It was fabulous.
A lovely small house in a beautifull old area. Looking out of the window and having ships in front. Great.
We slept very well and enjoyed the cooking in the perfect kitchen.
Also Enkhuizen is a beautifull little town and defentivly worth for a second trip.
Again, dear Nancy, thanks a lot for your warm welcome and your hospitality during our stay.
Looking forward to see you once again.
Greetings from Basel
Nancy and David's wonderful holiday house is an absolutely magical piece of Dutch history set in a picturesque coastal town. On arrival we were blown away by the old world charm of both the house and the town of Enkhuizen. Nancy greeted us with such enthusiasm about the house and it was easy to see why. After a brief tour of the stunning little house we felt immediately at home. Her love of the town and it's history was evident in her extensive knowledge and recommendations of things to do. We spent the whole day walking around the beautiful town and we completely agree as it was one of our favourite honeymoon destinations. The photos on airbnb.com are gorgeous and accurate but cannot truly convey the feeling of actually experiencing it first hand. Our only regret is that we didn't spend more time here. Nancy and David are wonderful hosts always available if needed, they even gave us a delicious traditional Dutch treat which we loved! We have been recommending this wonderful, romantic holiday house to all our family and friends and we plan to include this hidden gem in our next European holiday.
Nancy's house is wonderful as is Nancy as a host. A wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam - we actually chose the area simply because we loved the house - it is a beautiful coastal town that's perfect for a couple. We enjoyed cooking in the house on a couple of occasions and also visiting local restaurants and bars. We had a truly lovely time here and couldn't have improved anything about our stay. We have recommended it to friends already. Thanks again Nancy for such great hospitality and a lovely house!
Our hostess, Nancy, was very accomodating right from the beginning. She was not only helpful, but made herself available in making certain arrangements for activities we planned during our stay in Holland, in response to our request.
She had a lovely welcoming gift set out on the table for us, which, in my opinion went above and beyond expectation.
The house was lovely. It was clean and beautifully situatied in Enkhuizen. We even got complimented by strangers on our beautiful house, for which we took no credit. The house is perfectly situatied for travel via foot, bike, train, and ferry, which we did all of. The house is also walking distance from all shopping.
We rented bikes while in Enkhuizen and Nancy had a safe place for us to keep the bikes.
My only concerns would be, because I cooked quite a bit, is that there wasn't a microwave or toaster. I certainly worked around this, but it would have been handy. Minor issues really.
The Wi-Fi was excellent...we've had issues in other places, so we were very glad for this.
My husband and I agreed, we would return in a heartbeat.
Thank you Nancy for your generous personality and for sharing your home with us.
