Via delle Isole is a fashion street, celebrated in a film directed by Nanni Moretti. It's characterized by the presence of small houses with antique eclectic architecture and lush gardens.
In the neighbourhood are two beautiful public parks, Villa Paganini, Villa Torlonia, which is home to museums and buildings of cultural interest. It is located in a historic district created after the erection of Rome as capital of Italy (1870), when the ancient city, still included within the walls, had to adopt the buildings of finance and administration (ministries , banks, offices ). With the development plans of 1923 it created this area for the homes of the new working class. Now it is one of the most exclusive residential districts of Rome. Near the historical center, in an area rich in history and nature, still retains the charm and tranquility of centuries past.
