Interaction with Guests
Guests are pretty much left to themselves to enjoy their holiday. I am local to the area so will be on hand if needs be. I am happy to offer any help or advise during your stay.
The area surrounding the village is interspersed with smaller villages. It is not for people who want to be occupied, it is for people who love to go out and explore. Once settled in to the house you will just enjoy being here, you will find the open air markets, you will be welcome to join in village fetes and you will just enjoy the shear beauty of this region
From the village of Le Vivier there is no real public transport so a car is needed to get a round. There is a bus service from Caudies which takes you to Quillan or to Perpignan and will only cost 1 euro per person each way.
The only 3 rules are.
1. Please dont smoke in the house.
2. If you break anything PLEASE let me know so it can be replaced.
3. Enjoy your stay

About the Host, Peter
Hi. I have lived in this wonderful area now since 2005 and still love it.
I have 3 gites that are for rent throughout the year. The Orchard Studio in Fosse, La Terrasse in Le Vivier and my apartment in Perpignan.
I enjoy meeting our guests very much and then hearing about the high points of the holiday, I love it even more when they book to return the following year.
Living where I do offers a total escape. It is rural, quiet but beautiful. If you love peace and quiet and beautiful countryside then you should try a visit to either Fosse or Le Vivier. If city living is more you, then hopefully Perpignan will fit the bill. Wherever you stay, you will be assured of a friendly welcome and a clean and well equipped gite.
I look forward to meeting you one day.
