My centrally heated stone cottage with 2 bedrooms each with double bed, and 1 foldup bed, is 10 mins walk from Cheviot hills in Northumberland National Park. Near Newcastle or Edinburgh airports, it's in a Borders village with all amenities. There is a small parking bay behind the house, or onstreet parking directly outside, or a free public carpark about 200 yards down the road towards High Street.

Clean, comfortable house that was central to most places in Northumberland that we wanted to visit. Wooler had everything we needed on the doorstep and we had a couple of really nice meals out.

A comfortable, dog friendly house with lovely beds and hot water. It is in a quiet street. It is a great base with easy driving to the coast and inland. Barbara has a fantastic collection of guide books and maps. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

So sorry I was not there to greet Karen, but am glad she enjoyed it, and seems to like the area as much as I do!

Lovely accomodation. Close to local amenities: co-op and good pubs and take-aways (the fish and chips were wonderful!). Fantastic base for a walking or sight-seeing holiday or just a get-away-from-it-all short break. Highly recommend.
