  • Bonnie is a super host. The guest cottage is cozy and bright. Although it is small, it was very comfortable and worked for us perfectly. Bonnie is friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is detached from the house, with access to the kitchen and bathroom just steps away. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Haiku Guest House and the town of Haiku itself. It's just a few minutes drive to Paia too. Bonnie's place is nicely located which gave us a good start up to the Haleakala summit. We would recommend The Haiku Guest house for anyone looking for a nice clean, comfortable place away from the crowded tourist centres.

  • We were looking for a restful stay away from the tourists. Bonnie's home is a lonely Plantation home surrounded by lush Hawaiian plants. Leave your shoes at the door and admire the beautiful instruments and other things Bonnie has collected. The room was lovely, the tub and shower made me want to use them even more. And Bonnie..what a delightful, wise woman. She gave great advice about the island and made us wish we could have stayed longer. Mahalo, Bonnie. If/when we come back you will be hearing from us.

  • My wife and I rented this place for her parents. Her parents are not seasoned travelers so I spoke with Bonnie about that. Bonnie did everything possible to accommodate my in laws. My in laws were also happy with the accommodations. I can definitely recommend Bonnie, and it sounds like my in laws liked her place.

  • We stayed with Bonnie for a week. She was very warm and friendly. Her house was very clean and orderly. Plus there is a grocery store right down the street from her place. She even has guide books in the room for our use. Sadly we didn't get to chat with her as much as we wanted to but there is always next time!

  • Loved our stay with Bonnie..................
Lovely area, beautiful home and lots of fun. Bonnie was helpful with points of interest, information and listening at the end of the day about our adventures. Great place to stay. I would go back in a heartbeat. Exactly what we needed.

  • Bonnie is a welcoming host and the room I stayed in was lovely.... clean, comfortable and just what I needed for my first week on Maui. I would stay with Bonnie again and recommend her to anyone seeking a tranquil home away from home.

  • Bonnie is a great hostess. She was very helpful in giving us directions and shared ideas for interesting activities close in the Haiku area.
Bonnie has a beautiful home. The bed was very comfortable.
The Haiku area is a great, casual location to base your Maui vacation. Haiku is close to all the tourist destinations in Maui, and it is a great place to find entertainment and dinner without travelling more than a few blocks from Bonnie's home.

  • Bonnie is a gracious host, we are very pleased to be here to spend a pleasant holiday. Bonnie let us use her kitchen and laundry, leading us to experience the local farm activities, share Bonnie's homemade food. We are very grateful for Bonnie's help.

  • Amazing home and host! We would go back and stay with Bonnie in a second. She was warm and helpful and very pleasant. The house and room were beautiful and Haiku was its own little paradise. She was great in helping us with information around the island.

  • I and my parents had a wonderful stay with Bonnie. She's a very talented naturopath and energy worker, and I received a powerful treatment from her, and also some help on minor ailments. And she taught me to juice a noni fruit! Bonnie is also tapped in to the local conscious dance and yoga scene, and let me know about some events.

Her home is beautiful, charming and has great energy -- a special place to stay indeed. It was the perfect place to enjoy quality time with my family. And we all enjoyed conversation with Bonnie.
