Blanc is a very friendly and good owner. She gives me many useful information about the tourist spots. She also helps me to call taxi when i left her apartment. Very good cave house experience. Must try her cave house!
The cave house is great, cute and functional, we really liked it. The only issue was when Blanca's friend, who met us to give us the keys, tried to sell us tickets for a Flamenco show with a higher price than the original price that we knew before hand. We didn't like that at all as we were being taken for fools. Also in the end, for giving the keys, this person was not nice at all and a little aggressive. So I advise Blanca to manage the keys by herself since this person doesn't seem very honest.
This is a lovely tiny house. Exactly as described, this is a peculiar house/cave, typical of this neighborhood of Granada. We enjoyed very much its "charme", and also the perfect quietness and freshness of the bedroom, providing us the best nights of our Andalousia trip.
The location is quite near to all tourist attractions, at walking distance if you are ready to walk up-hill. A bar and a small shop, as well as an amazing view of the Alhambra, are just a few steps away.
In case you come by car, plan your trip much more carefully than we did: the house is located in a pedestrian road, a few steps away from a road which is easily reacheable by cab or public transport, but with car you need to find your way among roads forbidden to non-residents, or authorized only at night-time, and in addition parking places are rare, so that we ended up in an expensive (21€/day) parking.
We thank both Blanca (who was dealing with our messages and calls) and Carlos (who was actually giving us the keys) for their flexibility in the time of check-in and check-out.
We had a wonderful stay in the cave house! The house was clean, well looked after and nice and cool after a hot day. There was plenty of space for two of us. The shower room is very basic but for the novelty of staying in a cave this was more than worth putting up with. Blanca was very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful when she met us to hand over the keys. She had some great restaurant recommendations, and we found plenty of other nice places with good-value food and drink nearby no problem. The location was perfect, overlooking the Alhambra in the Sacremonte - I would definitely recommend for a stay in Granada!
Blanca was a thoughtful host. Her friend Carlos met us with the key and was very patient with our changing eta. The cave was fairly comfortable. We did not meet Blanca but she communicated everything we needed to know and was responsive.
