  • Rory's a lovely host! We had a great time, the place is immaculate and we felt completely at home. He was very helpful pointing out all the places we should go, what to do and where was nice to eat. Unfortunately we didn't have much time in Dublin so we didn't get to do everything but will definitely be back and hopefully he'll have room for us then! Thank you so much again!

  • Rory was a great host! Very accommodating and helpful! Check in and check out was easy and Rory gave us pointers on fun things to do in Dublin - thanks Rory! The bedroom has everything you need and is very comfortable.

I would recommend staying at Rory's for sure!

    Thanks again Rory!

  • Rory's place was great! He was very friendly and accommodating, with a highly detailed knowledge of great places to eat and things to do in Dublin. Being in the city centre, almost all of the city's main attractions are within walking distance. If you are looking for a place to stay in Dublin, look no further!

  • Rory's place was clean, quiet and convenient. The price was in sync with the space which was small.I'm not sure why it was in the BnB section because we had no breakfast. I may have over looked that detail. It worked out fine with places near by.

  • Rory is a wonderful host! I was lucky enough to have my room available straight away when I landed. May not always be the case as he needs time to setup from the previous guest, but you can stow your bags in the room and see the town in the meantime. It's a secure building. I felt safe as well as comfortable leaving my things there.

Communication is excellent. When I got outside he was prompt to meet me and help me get settled in. Rory is a wealth of information. He's more than happy to give you a quick rundown of what's nearby. Temple Bar and the Jamison's Distillery are within walking distance. His map and helpful input helped me make the most of my short trip here.

The room is perfect size for 1 or 2 people and room to spread out and stow your things. There is a set if drawers and a small closet. Hangers are also available for any nicer clothes you may have. I found the bed comfortable and the comforter provided is toasty warm! The desk is also nice for a sit down.

For you Yanks (Americans) like me. Make sure you ask how everything in the bathroom works. It took me a minute to figure out the inline electric water heater in the morning and the exhaust fan to keep things for steaming up. But everything in the bathroom was fine and worked well.

Above and beyond: Rory setup a taxi service to pick me up for the airport! Much appreciated!

Rory thank you for amazing stay! You truly are a super host and I would stay here again next time I'm in town. Thanks for everything!

  • This review is actually for Room 1 at the same location, not Room 2, as we were switched to the larger room on arrival.

We chose to stay with Rory because of his superhost status, and he did not disappoint. We used his recommendations almost exclusively during our three-night stay in Dublin, and the trip was great.

The location of the apartment was ideal for us, since it was easy to walk to the touristy stuff - for example, The Old Jameson Distillery and the Temple Bar area - but was in a quiet neighbourhood. There are many great local establishments within a few blocks, which Rory pointed out on a map for us.

We were a bit disappointed not to have use of a living room or kitchen - but it does say in his description that the availability of these are not guaranteed. The room was very clean, although on the small side and a little cold at night. But, to be fair, I'm sure that if we had mentioned this to Rory, he would have taken care of it immediately. He was an excellent host.

All in all, great value in a great value place. We definitely recommend a stay with superhost Rory.

  • Rory was an excellent host! We were only in Dublin for 2 nights, the first and last nights of our trip to Ireland. He was very responsive and helpful in emails, prior to our arrival, and as well as when we were there. Rory gave us lots of suggestions on what to do and where to go which were not always things we would have known about. The room itself was small but clean, bathroom was shared with 1 or 2 other rooms but there was never an instance where it was an issue to access. Great location! Perfect for a single or couple just needing a place to sleep with easy access to everything in Dublin. Thanks Rory!
