The Space

Newly renovated 2 story penthouse in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen.

You enter the apartment from the 4th floor. The large and fully equipped kitchen area, bedroom, bathroom and restroom are located here.

The top floor is the living area. One big room with high ceilings, skylights and exposed wooden beams. This is also where you'll find your new favorite spot, a nifty little balcony, perfect for afternoon drinks in the sun.

There's a projector and AppleTV with Netflix for a rare night in.

Nørrebro is a truly diverse and multi-cultural neighborhood. Cheap (but tasty) kebabs or fancy Michelin star cuisine? Excellent coffe, cocktails or bottled beer? You'll find it all within a short walk from the apartment.

You can easily reach the CPH city center either by Metro or the bus.

This apartment is not a vacation rental but our home. We like taking the opportunity to travel when other people want to stay at our place. But for obvious reasons this isn't always a possibility and therefore, we can't always guarantee that our place is available even if it appears so in the calendar.

If you have any questions, please don´t hesitate to ask.

  • Simply put, Peter's apartment is an outstanding place to settle into the Norrebro neighborhood and enjoy Copenhagen. We stayed for a week, it is gorgeous, newly renovated, super clean and spacious, very quiet and has an outstanding kitchen…But you won't be spending too much time eating in because the neighborhood is filled with all kinds of cafés and delicious restaurants – we especially liked Relae.
The second floor is wonderful to have breakfast, relax and cocoon after a long day biking/ when it rains.
If you are not familiar with Copenhagen and look on a map before going, Norrebro might seem a bit far from your usual touristy destinations but it is actually not! You are 5-10min from the old center by bike. + this is the cool hood, similar to what Brooklyn is to NYC :)
Peter was there to welcome us and easy to reach when we had a question about wifi during our stay. I also did not realize that I had forgotten my iPod until Peter emailed me about it, he was kind enough to mail it back to me in LA and he covered for shipping. He is a mensch of a host!
So, do yourself a favor and enjoy your Copenhagen visit by way of Peter and his gem of a place. We will stay there again when back in Denmark without hesitation!

Note: this is really a review from a guest (I did not know Peter before booking) but I had to leave feedback under reference as Airbnb does not allow to review after a 30-day period.

Love to travel -especially with my partner Jacob. We like the freedom of private accommodation and rarely stay at hotels anymore. We treat people (and homes) that we encounter on our ways with courtesy and respect - and expect the same from them.
