About This Listing
This 1-bedroom flat will make you want to stay in Mexico….forever!
ABOUT THE FLAT:
*The apartment is 70 sq. meters (my calculations), thus, it is big enough for accommodating from 2-4 persons.
*The master room: Brand-new queen size bed (my back says it is super comfy, indeed), a large walk-in closet, HD TV, DVD and a cozy window with view to the building patios (colonial style). The TV is used only for watching DVD's, thus there is no TV channels available. I have a broad range of DVD films.
*The Living-room & dining area: 1 sofa bed (super comfy again! And can accommodate 2 extra people!), iPod ready stereo, an Acapulco-style chair, fireplace, a dinner-table, a retro bike, a Spanish guitar (great sound!).
*The Kitchen: it has an oven, a washing machine (clothes), stoves and cupboards. Of course, it comes with casseroles, pans, dishware, cutlery, etc.
*1 full bathroom
*1 elevator (the flat is on the second floor)
* Internet broadband
ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
The apartment is close to everything that is worth visiting! The hip Condesa, Roma and Polanco neighbourhoods are just a few blocks away. Subway (3 blocks), Metrobus (1 block away), a safe taxi on-demand spot (in the UK they call it minicab - 1 block away). Stylish Reforma avenue (3 blocks) where you can even enjoy biking and walking on Sundays (in the mornings, cars are not allowed). Anthropology Museum (10 mins by car), Downtown aka "Zocalo" (10 mins by car), Chapultepec Castle and Park (10 mins)...etc.
If you are up for some shopping or just in a hungry mood, the nice mall “Reforma 222” is just 3 blocks away, with good restaurants (for all kind of budgets), bars, boutique shops and cinemas. There are 24/7 convenient store in every corner. As you can see, everything is close to my flat!
I have been living here for almost a year. If you book the flat I will just move to a friend’s house. Yahir was a wonderful host. Although he was out of town during most of our trip, he still made sure to keep in touch with us and introduced us to his friend who suggested some excellent places to eat and drink at!
The apartment was very comfortable, clean, beautiful and pretty centrally located to everything. We could walk to Chapultepec park and the Centro since the weather was lovely. The apartment is close to nightlife in Roma and yet very safe and quiet.
Did I mention that you can hear the birds chirping in the morning? It's a very special apartment.
Yahir's house is beautiful. quiet, peaceful and very centrally located. Yahir was a very kind and helpful host, and the apartment is well designed.

About the Host, Yahir
Hello! I am 33 years old, and I work as a researcher in international affairs at a University in Mexico City. I like hosting international visitors and share my culture and Mexican experiences with them.
I like to do things with style and add a local touch. Some of my guests have told me that my advices on where to eat and where to go, like local markets, restaurants and clubs, have marked a positive difference on their travel :) I have to confess that some of my guests have also showed me some new amazing places too :)
