Interaction with Guests
Whether you are a student, a tourist, or a passer by, this is a place to come home to, have a good meal and get tips from your host on what to check out in the city by the Bay.
The household is:
F, 40's, nurse, scientist project manager
F, 40's, teacher, musician, who lives in a separate cottage in the back but shares the kitchen and living areas.
We both work and our home is generally quiet unless we host a dinner or an occasional house concert on Sundays.
We are friendly and unobtrusive.
Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet yet close to a street with coffee houses, restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores. Whole Foods is within walking distance and just a little farther Trader Joes and one of the few malls in town: Stonestown.
On one direction you can walk and watch the sun from a hilltop. The other direction go to 24 Hr Fitness, Bikram Yoga, Elevate Fitness.
K-Ingleside- 2 blocks away is the Muni stop for the K-Ingleside train that will take you to Embarcadero Ferry Building (downtown) or the Balboa Bart Station.
29- Sunset, which will take you to my favorite beach: Baker's beach after crossing Golden Gate Park.
If you drive you are perfectly located to take the highways either north or south 101 or 280. About a mile away from the entrances of these 2 highways.
Other Things to Note
We are healthy and environmentally conscious.
Minimum stay is two nights.
No drugs, no smoking inside.
Rennea, thank you so much for everything!
Rennea is a wonderful host. Her home is absolutely charming. Even though she was still in Italy when we arrived, she left clear instructions regarding the move in. We were greeted by a clean room and her long term tenant was there to brief us and show us around. The beds were comfortable for two and the green room had ample space with a lot of cabinets for storage.
We were welcome to use the common areas such as the well-stocked kitchen and the beautifully furnished living room with a super comfortable hammock! It was a perfect location for my husband to commute daily downtown without the noise and bustle in the heart of the city. The location was also very conveniently located, with over a dozen good restaurants and shops just walking distance away. The mall and trader's joe is also a short 20 minute walk through the serene neighborhoods.
Rennea was so friendly and welcoming, I really enjoyed our conversations together. She ensured that our 1 month stay in the green room was more than comfortable with all amenities fully provided for. The wifi was wicked fast, something we definitely appreciated after the horrible 0.7 mbps internet in our previous place here in SF.
My husband and I loved living here so much that we were considering moving back to this neighborhood in the future when we are ready to buy our first place. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Rennea is an amazing host! She's very kind, easygoing and a pleasure to talk to. She gave us tips on local spots worth checking out and how to get there. She even let me use her guitar to strum throughout our stay, which made enjoying breakfast on the porch over looking the hills even more serene...
Her home is very beautiful and so comforting to fall into after a day in the city. My brother and I are well over 6' tall and the room/beds were plenty large. The Muni is 2 blocks away but you'll probably walk further just to take in the gorgeous neighborhood. When we travel back to San Francisco, there's no question where we'll be staying again... La Casa Rosada
We had a fabulous time at Rennea's charming home in Ingleside Terrace. The house is spacious, bright, very clean, surrounded by dramatic views of surrounding hills, and full of colourful art and warmth. Rennea welcomed us with so much friendliness and we felt right at home. We really appreciated the freedom to use the kitchen (and the whole rest of the house), availability of coffee in the mornings, and Rennea' s helpfulness navigating the city. I had been a bit worried that the location would feel out of the way, but this wasn't a problem at all. It's but a 5 minute walk to the MUNI tram, which took us pretty much anywhere we wanted to go in the city. This was a truly special experience.
Rennea was an amazing host! The house is really nice, cozy, clean in a beautiful and calm district of the city. She was a sort of second mum for us, she came to the airport to pick up us to her home and she also gave a ride to our next place the day that we had to go away, bringing us to see the city from the most beautiful point of view. I really recommend this place, she will feel you like home! Thanks again Rennea!
We felt so very well at Renneas home. The house is clean, quiet and very cute in a very nice neighborhood. We are still very happy about meeting her and our stay at hers for a few days. She even gave us tips for our upcoming trip to the south of California - which we highly appreciated. Ask her if you need anything to know about places in California which are worth a look. We will definetly come back to her when we come back so the city. :)
I really enjoyed staying at Rennea’s place. She’s a lovely host—we chatted about all sorts of stuff. The room was super comfy, and the neighbourhood was nice and quiet. One of my favourite AirBNBs that I’ve stayed in. My only regret is not staying more than two nights!
About the Host, Rennea
Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my listing!
I'm multi-faceted female, artistic, musical, explorer, adventurous, mindful and respectful.
I love to host people of all ages and show them around if they choose to take me as their SF guide. I love the outdoors- backpacking and rock climbing- and also am a big fan of listening to jazz and world music. Going to museums, browsing the stores on Haight St. or Hayes Valley, going to the farmers market and taking the ferry to Sausalito is just some of the things to do. Love San Francisco where I have lived now 30 years. Be my guest!
