Built 1851 with the same rock as the temple, yet fully updated for comfort (all new utility services, granite, Led's-but all hidden underneath authentic pioneer finish!). Come stay in one of the state's oldest homes! 2 blocks from temple. 1 block from high school, swimming pool, & fairgrounds. Great location!

The space
You're going to love the way you feel in this handcrafted home! A sense of wonder and awe as you appreciate history in a real live way...except you get to enjoy fully updated modern conveniences of course! Hidden notes are tucked away throughout the home giving you an opportunity to go on a self-guided history tour if you choose – enhancing the experience it is to stay at the cottage!

The home was fully remodeled in 2014, fully up to code, however great effort was made to keep and restore moldings, original floors, exposing rock surfaces, etc. New Water heater, furnace, central air, and windows will give you modern comforts but the historic charm is even more impressive and completely stealing the show. Decorated with some authentic Mormon pots and Furnature (mixed with comfortable beds and couches-you won't feel like you are in a museum:). High speed internet, 4K tv also allow you to connect to the “real world” if you choose. Our family lived in this home one year while we built out new home, you'll love it! It’s more than a place to stay, it’ll be an experience for the whole family!

You'll be right in the middle of all the excitement this small town has to offer! Close proximity to high school events, the fun swimming pool, fair grounds with the rodeo and demolition derby and carnival. It's also the best place to park for the Mormon Miracle Pageant. And it's walking distance to the temple. A perfect place to stay for your anniversary!
