MaryAnn's Oceanfront Hideaway

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Privada del Mar, La Salina, Baja Californa Norte, Mexico

The Space

The condo is a three bedroom, 2 bath, 1578 square ft. on the ocean waterfront. There are heavenly views from the large patio on the fifth floor of the tower. It is inside the gated community. The condo is specifically located on the ocean with it's own beach for swimming fishing, surfing, kayaking, jetskiing, parasailing, and boating. There are boatslips to rent at the Puerto Salina Marina located onsite. There is also an Infinty Pool with a jacuzzi. The property has marble floors, a large fully equipped kitchen with island, an oceanfront panoramic balcony with patio chairs for oceanfront dining, a massage chair, a new stainless steel refrigerator, washer and dryer, satelite T.V., internet, magic jack for phone calls, beach chairs and fresh bedding.

-Master Suite # 1 Queen bed with oceanview balony, bathroom with rainforest shower and a separate large jacuzzi.

-Bedroom #2 Bunkbed trendle set, with a computer and desk set, a large closet with extra air mattresses and beach chairs

-Bedroom #3 Beautiful Puerto Salina view with balcony, queen bed and a dresser

The condo number is 151 outside the elevator to the right. In the elevator the floor to press is 4 to get to the fifth floor. There is a codebox that is located outside the front left hand side of the front door inside the maintenance panel door.

A Magic Jack is located on the kitchen counter that can be hooked up to a computer for free phone calls to the U.S.

There is internet access in the condo and there is also a computer in the 3rd bedroom.

The T.V. has Direct T.V. and should not need a phone call to be connected. Sometimes if you haven't been there for awhile the satellite will need a call to them to re-direct it. Direct T.V.s phone number will be on the T.V., although I don't think it will be needed.

The light brown massage chair when plugged in can be operated with the unit control on the left hand side of the chair.

There are patio chairs in the living room that can be brought onto the outside balcony and if they could kindly bring them inside before they leave.

The hot water heater is located in the laundry room.

The bathrooms are supplied with sample shampoos, conditioners, lotions, small toothpaste packets, towels, toiletries and a blow dryer.

  • This place is wonderful! If you want to get away from it all and have long walks on a private beach, this is the apartment for you. There were ten people on the beach at the highest concentration and we were alone most of the time. The apartment itself was high end, with marble and travertine tile throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped which we loved since we could cook and eat on the balcony overlooking the beach. The master bathroom is a thing of beauty. Corinna is a wonderful host and quickly answered any questions we had.

The cons were the guards at the gate, who insisted they that the apartment didn't exist and they had never heard of Corinna or the owners, but they would be happy to rent us another one. They tried to this the second time we entered as well. There also was an odd smell throughout the apartment that smelled like a poorly vented sewer pipe. However, when we opened the windows it disappeared quickly.

There aren't any shops or restaurants nearby and the gated community is still in the early stages of construction, but if you are after a quiet and private experience with amazing views then this place is perfect. Highly recommended.
